he's a sad boy who wnats his friend back v badly bc he misses her so much and he gets rlly mad at some point and just destroys one of his gadgets and another and then he just flops on his bed and Yells into it.
he doesnt know what to do he wants to go see her so bad. somehow just,,, he needs to see her

obviously dylan gets a phone so they can text and call and dylan at the end is always suddenly got a rlly soft sad voice and goes "I miss you, xanie"

and like if they go like a few days without talking or texting, xanie like texting her "i hope you are doing okay" but yes and xanie gets sad like "i miss you too dylan, i cant wait to see you when you get back"

dylan doesnt rlly say anything about what she is and where she occasionally disappears to and then suddenly returns but when she does she immediately meets up with xanie and hugs her rlly tight and smiling so wide she loves her frens sm.

he stays for like an hour or smth before he hears his mom call his name for dinner or smth and he has to go back to his house. he shows her all his little cool gadgets and inventions he's made and soemtimes finds himself rambling on accident then getting rlly embarrassed and shoving his face with jelly beans so he can shut himself up rip

and he doesnt eat much. he'll eat a bit but he mostly picks at his food cuz he's always thinking about her and he honeslty wishes they had some kind of way of communicating

She watches him show them all and honestly she doesn’t care much about them but she does care about his expressions and how interested and excited he is and how nobody is really interested in showing her things like he is oH MY GOSH. A point where she gives him jellybeans to lightly tease him when he talks too much

What he doesn’t  know is that she visits him because she has the ability to and she sees him there  alone and it upsets her with their distance but she can’t leave because social security now watches her every move :,(

xanie doesn't know what to think of dylan's disappearing all the time but like, doesn't want to bring it up and doesn't and is just always happy when she sees dylan again and just is full of happiness to the brim
