♡  no more tears.... starts off depressed and you feel a sudden sense of loneliness, but it gets better near the end. the song is about how nathaniel felt when he lost his grandmother, and how he went through the grieving process. "and now, sweet light of mine, there are no more tears".


♡  a wasted 11:11 wish.... this song, like the rest of the album, has a slow, relaxing tune. it is definitely a tear-jerker, as it shows the more personal side of nathaniel and his struggles with love. the song doesn't outright say who nathaniel is referring to but fans speculate it's about farrah mustafa, a close friend of his. he refuses to say who the song is about. "you're just a wasted 11:11 wish"


♡  mother dearest.... when nathaniel sings this song he almost always chokes up. it's about his mother and how he never truly got to know her, since she died when he was only six months. "i only hope i'm doing you proud" tells us that, while nathaniel never got to know her, he still only wishes that he can make her proud.


♡  out of place.... a song that really means a lot to him. nathaniel is recalling all the times growing up he felt so out of place in his hometown and how it never really felt like home. he's said in an interview that he always felt like an outsider looking in. nathaniel also stated that, even to this day, he still has yet to find his "home", and his search has been a long and exhausting one.
