he thought a moment. "you should enter."

He blinked and looked up, his eyes a bit wide. He shook his head and said, frowning, "What? No, no, I couldn't do something like that."

he hummed. "so you are a pussy then. wonderful."

His frown grew deeper at this, and he snapped softly, glaring at the other, "What the fuck? No, I'm not. I just don't wanna enter something with fighting just for fun that isn't even required. Besides, didn't you say you could only do it now that you're a third year?"

he blinked. "no. my year has nothing to do with it. you can enroll at the academy at thirteen and then you can join at whatever age you want. you can't join the arena until you're 18."

[peridot.]

He blinked and said, huffing softly, "Alright, then I could do it, but that still doesn't mean I want to. Like I said, it's just senseless fighting."

he nodded. "well.. i think tye mafws ressurect you and send you home? that's the one time necromancy is allowed, i think.."

He frowned a bit and said, seeming uneasy by the description of the activity, "I guess that's good, but it still seems really unpleasant to die, even if you come back."
