it's harassment and any university should know that and do something about it. free speech or not, telling someone to kill themselves is not okay in any way. and the fact it happened the day the LGBTQ center opened on the campus is even worse and my blood is boiling ahhhh

doing all this research on this has only made me more passionate about making the Trevor Project my speech topic because reading all of these articles and seeing the statistics is just so disheartening and alarming and the fact 29% of LGBT+ youth committed suicide this past year makes me so sad and upset. incidents like at the one at CSU shouldn't be happening in a country that has boasted equality and inclusivity and being a place where everyone can succeed for years
