I’m Still Here *Private*

It had been about a week later when they reached Tenabrae. They had gotten Noctis’s leg in a cast and were now resting in a hotel in the city. They had a room with two queen beds. Prompto and Gladio ended up sharing abed so they didn’t bump Noctis’s leg at night.

Gladio was currently sitting down on a chair, watching the two boys when he heard a knock at the door. Gladio frowned, moving over and opening it. His eyes widened when he spotted Ardyn. He then narrowed his eyes.

“What do you want?” Gladio asked. Ardyn smiked.

“I merely wished to return something that belonged to your group.” He said. He then stepped away, revealing Ignis standing there. Ignis looked up at him. The skin around his right eye was scarred. But he could see again.

“Ignis?” Gladio asked. Ignis glanced at him, setting ahand on his shoukder. He then moved past Gladio, quickly moving over to Noctis and Prompto.

“Noct...” Ignis trailed off, watching him

he looked up when he heard Ignis and tried to get out of bed, eyes wide. "i-Ignis!"

Ignis quickly moved over, sitting down on the bed by Noct. He looked him over, setting a hand on his cheek.

noct stared up at him before hugging him tightly.

Ignis closed his eyes, quickly hugging him back. He kept him close, raising ahand to gently grip his hair.

Ardyn and Gladio soon entered the room. Ardyn looked over. “I hope you’ll take better care of yourself now, Ignis.” He said. Ignis nodded.

“I will.” Ignis said. Gladio frowned.

“I still don’t know why you’re trusting him. You know he has some other motive for helping us.” Gladio muttered.

he hissed. "gladio, he brought Ignis back. don't go.. fucking with him or whatever.."

Gladio sighed. “Sorry just...He has t been trustworthy in the past.” He said. Ardyn eyed them.

“And I understand why you believe that. But...Believe ms when I say I’m a relative of Noctis. And I don’t want to see him suffer. That’s why I brought back Ignis.” He said

he hesitated slightly. "arden.. would you consider traveling with us..?"

Gladio eyed him suspiciously. It was obvious he wasn’t fond of the idea. Ignis pulled away from Noctis after a momemt. “It’s okay guys. He’s...He’s not the evil man we thought he was. He’s done some bad things, but he’s changed.” Ignis said.

“I will come with if that’s what you guys wish.” He said
