he hummed. "there was something you said in spanish, and i was never able to figure out what it meant.." he said. "something like.. respiraciones profundas, amor.. what does that mean?" his spanish was absolutely horrible, obviously.

(it means 'deep breaths, love', btw)

He blinked and turned a bit red - but it was thankfully kind of covered by his dark skin - before he said, sighing, "God, you really don't know what it means? Haven't you ever cracked open a Spanish book, Morrison?" He joked softly, but then said, scratching the back of his neck, "Well, it means 'deep breaths, love'."

he blinked, and jack smiled slightly. "you called me love?" during their string of nights together, and the few months they 'dated' they had never said i love you- though jack had said it many times when jack thought Gabe couldn't hear or was walking away.

He rolled his eyes and said, shrugging a bit, "Yeah, I did. I figured it would make you feel better, but obviously you didn't understand it."

he smiled. "i thought it might mean something like that but.. ah, google translate only goes so far."

He smiled and said, chuckling, "Yes, well, I did call you love other times, but obviusly you didn't get it then either, since you're so surprised."

that's when he started to turn pink. "you did..?"

"Yes, I did. Usually when you couldn't hear, though." He said, shrugging a bit as he smirked slowly when he saw Jack turn pink, "What're you blushing for, Morrison?"

he turneda darker pink and he smacked gave. "shut it, reyes!" he huffed, rubbing his own cheeks. "it's just hot out!" which was a pretty plausible answer, as it was in the low ninties that day and jack was wearing a light jacket.

He blinked and said, tilting his head to one side and smiling softly, "Uh, yeah, I remember that. You were freaking the fuck out at first but I helped and you were finally back to your old self for a little while."
