i feel cruel but like ya know how monty has two frenchies? what if one of them got really sick and had to be put down? like monty is very attached to his doggos and just.... angst

anyways, like monty got both his frenchies when they were small puppies, no older than two months, so he raised them and watched them grow up and such and like the dogs aren't old by any means (probably no older than 4/5 years) and one of them gets really sick and there isn't anything the vet can do so monty coming to terms with having to put down one of his dogs and just so much pain and tears and c:

[spoiler=here you go]- a snowball fight followed by cuddling up under a warm blanket drinking hot cocoa with a cute movie on
- the cliche thing where one of them is cooking and the other comes up behind them and wraps their arms around them
- attempting to clean a room or be productive but music is playing and they end up dancing instead
- going outside at night and cuddling on a blanket and stargazing while talking about the simple things and falling asleep
- adopting a pet and basically treating it like a child and being that couple but it's okay cuz it's not like too over the top
- one of them is reading a book while the other is curled up next to them with their arms around them and asleep
- similar to that one, one is sitting while the other is curled up next to them and the one is softly stroking their hair while the other is sleeping
- early morning hikes
- facetime calls till 4am when they are apart
- driving in the car and singing along to the radio in the most obnoxious voices ever
- going to apple orchards and taking those really aesthetic couples' pictures
- making lists of the reasons why they love the other
- one of them is sick and the other cuddles with them despite the fact that they could also get sick
- borrowing/stealing hoodies
- idk there are more but i'm tired
