"Wait, wait." He said softly, moving forward to give the other a soft kiss - he had stand up on his toes to do so if Eddie wasn't leaning over - and he smiled, "I've noticed how tall and big you've gotten and stuff, and trust me, you impress me. So, uh, there's no need to keep growing, by the way."

he smiled. "what? afraid i'll turn out like big dad?"

[peridot.]

He blinked and nodded, blushing a little bit, "Uhm, yes? You're already so much taller than me that I have to stand up on the tips of my toes to kiss you unless you're crouching, and you don't need to get taller than that!"

he laughed. "no promises~" he said and hummed happily.

He rolled his eyes and said, smiling a bit as he looked up at the other, "I just don't want to be referred to as 'little Dad' by our future kids~"

he laughed softly. "but little dad fits you so well~"

[peridot.]

He giggled and shook his head, saying with a grin, "No, it doesn't! Besides, I'm not actually 'little', you're just freakishly tall." This wasn't true, since most of the rest of the Losers club was taller than him by now.

he scoffed. "aw, poor little trash mouth is in denial~"

He kissed back and made a soft squeaking noise, his face a bright red. He rolled his eyes and said quietly, smiling a bit, "Oh, fuck you. You know that's not what I meant~"
