the boys had been waiting an hour at their social workers office, eddie gently playing with his boyfriends fingers. he looked up when two very well groomed men walked in, one very tall, and one.. incredibly short man cloning to the taller mans arm. "so sorry we're late! we got caught by a cop for 'speeding' and he took an hour to write a ticket.." the tall one said.

Richie had been distracted by Eddie playing with his fingers, and his eyes had been trained on the other, when the two came in. He blinked and looked up, saying softly as he pulled his hands away from Eddie, just out of cautiousness, "Ah. It's... alright." Richie had been almost peculiarly quiet this entire time, mostly because of nerves.

eddie made a soft, whimpers noise when he pulled his hand away, and the tall man smile. "i'm jacob, and this is my partner." he said. "go on, introduce yourself." the tall man said softly.

The small male took a deep breath and seemed slightly nervous but happy as he waved at the two children, saying softly, "I'm, uh, I'm Scott. It's nice to meet you both." Richie's eyes seemed to widen a bit as they both introduced themselves, and in his head, he could only hear what they were over and over again, partners. He blinked and took Eddie's hand again, saying softly as he scratched the back of his neck, "I'm Richie, but I guess you probably knew that..."

jacob smiled. "so the other boy is eddie?" he asked and smiled. eddie nodded. "we've already got your bags and such in the van."

[peridot.]

Richie blinked and nodded a little bit, gently tracing over Eddie's palm over and over again with his thumb before saying softly, "You.. You guys don't like that far away, do you?"

[dannychan]

jacob smiled. "thirty minutes from the school, about an hour from here we live on the edge of town, but for good reason." he said and smiled.

[peridot.]

He nodded slowly and said softly, scrunching his nose, "Okay. This town sucks anyways, so I don't mind living near the edge of town. As long as we still get to see our friends."

he nodded. "of course. now let's take you boys to your new home~"
