He sighed, watching Ignis. He glanced him over. "And he still might, Ignis. What then?" He asked quietly. He watched him before looking away. "...If that happens, I can't guarantee everyone's safety. Not the civilians. Not my own. And not...You and Gladio and Prompto. My father was able to produce a shield over the whole city. I don't know how to do that. We're vulnerable for an air strike if I can't summon up that shield." He said

He watched him. "Those men I can throw out, Ignis. That's not the problem." He said. He glanced ahead. He was about to say something before tensing up when he spotted a figure moving towards them in the distance. It was huge. Noctis's eyes widened. It was a war ship. He glanced around the city. He wouldn't have time to evacuate everyone in time. He frowned, watching the airship as it drew closer. He's just have to attempt to summon the shield around the city so it couldn't get in.

Noctis took a step back.

Noctis frowned. "There'll be time to argue later about that." Noctis said. He frowned. "Get yourself somewhere safe." He said. He then fell silent, looking like he was concentrating on something.

He glanced at Ignis before looking down. He reached into his pocket, taking out a ring. It was the ring of Lucis. He had been avoiding using this ring. He knew all it did was slowly drain the life from you overtime. Guess that's another burden of being a king.

He waited a momemt before slipping the ring on. Almost instantly, he felt the draining feeling of the ring. He waited a moemmt before looking ahead. He focused on putting up the shield. After a momemt, the small gem in the ring seemed to glow a bit. Noctis glanced up, seeing that the shield was forming over the city. He had to prop himself up on the railing to prevent himself from collapsing. He just felt really weak after doing that.

"There...That should hold them out." He whispered.
