It had been around a month later. Neflhiem had kept there promise. They had sent some imperials over to help with the rebuilding and clean up. Noctis had taken up his role as king. Some civilians had moved back and pitched in as well.

Noctis was currently out in the city along with Gladio. They had just finished rebuilding a small house. Noctis and Gladio were resting, talking to each other.

it wasn't long before Ignis and prompto walked in, looking absolutely exhausted. seeing as the two men already took up the couch, both prompto and Ignis move to sit on them. prompto nuzzled noct's neck, sighing.

Noct kissed his head softky. "Hey you two. You doing alright?" Noct asked.

prompto nodded. "we both just ran for ten minutes from a huge dog." he sighed. Ignis nodded. "it was half my size at last."

Noctis frowned. Half Ignis's size? He frowned. "Well there's no domesticated dogs around here that size. Where were you two?" He asksd

he blinked. "it was a mastiff great dane mix from what i could tell. it wasn't that far off."

"Ah...Didn't have a collar or anything?" He asked

he shook his head. "no, before it started chasing us, i got a look but uh.. it was definitely rabid."
