— robert is a rugged sort of man - charming in his own disheveled, worn sort of way. true to the german shepherd breed, he is bulky, shoulders wide and chest broad, though admittedly underweight considering most of his diet is derived from malted barley. if one where to look beneath his coat ( leather, as well as his fur ), they would find his ribs and breastbone to be alarmingly prominent. his fur is primarily brown, adorning a sable russet pattern here and there, and styled so messily one would think he had only just managed to crawl out of bed. the fur between his ears is a tad longer than the rest, but just as unkempt, tossled enough to show the faintest streaks of grey that extend from the roots. his eyes are honeyed hazel, bordering on gold when in direct sunlight, and usually hidden beneath scuffed sepia aviators. while he would not consider it 'accessorizing', he wears a leather jacket more often than not, unable to part with it. if one were to somehow catch him without his coat, they would be able to see scar tissue along his chest -- a long, wide expanse of pink flesh healed over by the years, but still looking fresh. they would also see a ' tattoo ', although not inked in this form, it seems to be branded into his paw in the shape of a boat wheel. if asked about it, he will become distant and snappish, and will not answer beyond a snarled ' drop it '.

— robert is a man who is struggling to maintain control on his life. after the sudden loss of his wife and disconnecting from his only daughter, robert sunk deep into depression. in the attempt to fill the emptiness in his chest, he consumes an unhealthy amount of alcohol. the constant buzz allows him to relax, wear a mask of lies that hides the truth of his suffering. while he is blunt, a tad bit aggressive when he is off put, and rough around the edges, he isn’t biting off anyone’s head. he uses dry, dark humor as a defense mechanism, pretending that his [ lying ] comic routine will most definitely deter his friends and neighbors from digging too deep into his mess. despite the web of lies he spins to protect himself from others and to keep others from getting too close, he is a man who cares deeply for the people in his life. while he has difficulties expressing his affections in words, he show his kindness in small acts and including friends within his life to a small extent.  he is admittedly stand-offish due to his nature, but in actuality, he is humorous and as he ages, he wishes to do good and attempt turning his life around.

it's all good, gore. never get upset if you have more interest in spending time in another site. i can't get into tumblr like a lot of people, but i know that's a great place of aesthetics.
