name: this beauty's full name is katarina marie montoya. growing up, her birth mother always wanted to name her first daughter katarina, so she did, even if she had her when she was only fifteen years old. katarina had no specific meaning or anything to her mother, other than the fact that she loved the name and it appealed to her. marie, again, had no other meaning to her other than the fact that she liked how it sounded with her first name. she didn't always have the surname montoya, it use to be the same as her birth mother's, which was reyes. it changed to the last name it was now when she was adopted by her adoptive mothers when she was almost five.
nickame/petnames: a given nickname that came along with her name has always been kat. that's a name virtually everyone calls her, no matter how much they know her, which she is perfectly fine with. some of her friends also call her things like kitty kat or kit-kat. as for petnames, a common one is definitely princess. her mothers as well as her friends call her that. other mismatch petnames that she gets called are babe, beautiful, and kitten. kat is always up for more nicknames or petnames. rosita always calls her "flor", which is flower in spanish, and samantha calls her "baby girl".

• name: her full name is indigo rose vassos. when her parents found out they were pregnant with her, they wanted it to be a surprise when they had their baby on what gender it was, so they went with a gender neutral name - indigo. they decided rose early on too as a female middle name, due to the fact that it was her mother's favorite flower and the name of indigo's grandmother. vassos is her father's surname, which she obviously inherited from him. it is a greek surname which fits, seeing how his parents immigrated to the united states from greece before he was born.
  
• nicknames/petnames: the most common name indigo goes by is indie. it was a nickname her parents called her a lot when she was growing up, loving the sound of it. it stuck really well when she got into school and now that's what most people know her by. another more uncommon nickname she's heard twice was digo, and she's not sure how she feels about it honestly. as for petnames, two that a lot of people call her is sweetheart and baby. her family also calls her bee.

• build: indigo stands at five feet two inches and weighs about one hundred nine pounds.  well, technically she is a bit under five feet two inches, but she rounds up anyways. there is no doubt that she is a very petite girl, adding to the cuteness of her.

• history: indie's childhood was pretty normal. well, as normal as having a weed dealing grandmother could be. the only bump on the road came when she was in middle school and she began to openly tell girls (and guys) that she liked them, which got her bullied quiet often. that hurt her a bit but it never changed her in the way where she would try to hide that part about herself. she always proudly identified as omnisexual, omniromantic, and polyamorous.

- she has two older sisters and a younger sister
- her parents got a divorce when she was fifteen because her parents weren't that in love anymore and just decided to end things. she actually knew that her mother was cheating on her father because she caught her mother with her mom's boyfriend but was too nervous to say anything
- when her dad found out it caused a big fight within the family and ultimately the kids ended up choosing sides. nika stayed with her dad as well as her younger sister, the second oldest was on their moms side but she was attending college at the time and the oldest was on their dad's side but already had a house of her own. she did help care for the younger ones whole their dad worked the night shifts though
- when she was little she spent a lot of time at her grandparents house. she got along great with her grandma but her grandfather was really mean.
- he would physically abuse anika as well as mentally and emotionally. eventually it even turned into sexual abuse. she never said anything in fear he would hurt her even more so she lived with it until she was fifteen years old and he passed away
