I never hear Eden used. The only time I've heard it used was in Knights of Eden, which was medieval justice based. And animals.

ive got a group in the works called nirvana honnestly lmao. it's gonna have those "everything is perfect, fuck it up and we'll kill you" and extreme "for the good of the group" vibes so i mean,,, maybe if you guys can move your characters either there or utopia if you want that kind of thing. xD honestly i can't wait for utopia, it sounds cool!

idk if everyone here has watched enough of the 100, but personally st. pete's reminds me of polis for some reason

if you're looking for a militaristic yet tradey name, why is st. peters not suitable anymore???

tbh i'd join fox, i love groups that try to be perfect and pretend their perfect but they aren't really and they're a little fucked up and i'd join in a heartbeat. if you have a plotting thread or chatting thread up for nirvana i'd jump right in because i think i already have a character idea.

i thought that too, st. peter's is meant to be a fort name as it was named after a fort up near canada in the?? early 1800s or late 1700s i believe that was the trading hub for beaver skins and it was really rich for a long while before most of the hunters moved out of the area.

i personally don't really like the name eden, it just seems a little... bland to me. like, if i was an outsider and the group was already called eden i probably wouldn't pay it as much mind but i guess that's just me personally. and eden is similar to utopia considering the fact that they're both idealistic places. out of what asyli suggested as alternatives, i really like constantinople because of what is actually represents and seeing that this place is set out to be more like a trading hub and that name is linked to "the richest city of its time and "the biggest trading port"

edit: i really like st peter's by the way. i think whoever came up with the idea must have put in a lot of effort and time to try to think of it because it's not something i've actually seen around before

i want something nice, but not too short.
the direction i would like for st. peter's is to be more business-like, nothing of the military since it didn't have that military feel the first time i joined, at all

i'm planning on putting up a sort of a dog & horse breeding farm (of course they're separate U CANT BREED DOGS AND HORSES OK) and maybe sell/trade with that and what not
i was thinking that they could also try to fix the electricity some how and figure how why the hell it went out in the first place

and ye i think, if we do end up changing it, we should avoid any paradise or haven-sounding names and go with a fort-like one. tbh, i like the name the way it is, but if all else i wanna suggest one thing: the name could come from a building or street that is between or intersects the costo and apartments. otherwise it wouldn't really make sense icly for someone to change the name without any significance, y'know?? like you could name it Fort This or that,  but if there's not a fort nearby with the samw name, it seems weird to have it come up out of the blue??
looling at warrior cats, the clans were kinda named after their surroundings  (windclan=windy moors, thunderclan=thunderpath, etc)

edit: maybe the name could come from a statue in the town or smthn too that someone discovers close to their home

[align=center][div style="borderwidth; width: 450px; padding: 0px; text-align: justify; line-height: 12px; font-size: 8pt"]yeah it likely wasn't in history books, when i first named the group i spent a long time going over old forts and doing research on places that i felt would fit. fort peter's was small but it was very important to the region of the time, it likely wouldn't have been in history books because it wasn't something blown up. it was just a regular old fort. i think they also had a very good relationship with the natives of the area and that may have been another reason i chose it. i just liked the name and thought it fit well with what the group was at the time. that and i'm a history nerd so i always go looking for small stuff like that lmao, tbh i thought it was better than the other name i had for it because the other name would have been eoifwjf i think it was something really french and it just didn't sound good in either language.

that's a mood pyre, fuck, you know what we should do sometime again? bring back our monty and jasper or even bring them to tnw because that was the best idea we ever had. i'm laughing, if we named it polis i think i would start crying tears of joy and then pained tears as my heart exploded in pain.
