Newt was yanked through the front of the strip club and out the door, Robyn letting out a relieved sigh once they were outside.

/Skip?? Danny should've left her number on Robyn's phone and have the note be like "in cases of emergencies" but Newt abuses the in case of emergency part

Newt was not enamoured with Danny. It was just that he thought it was bullshit that Danny had shown up, told him about this entire different side of the world, and then disappeared. Sure, she had had to take that girl to the hospital, and he got that, but he still wished he could've asked more about monsters and shit. Or at least given her a proper thank you. So, when Robyn has told him Danny had left her number on her phone in case of emergencies, he had worried over it for two full days before he finally stole Robyn's phone, ignoring how she claimed he had gotten a crush on a hunter, and calling the number, anxiously moving from foot to foot.

after a moment there was an answer. "salem at your service. what's up?" she asked.

[peridot.]

Shifting nervously once again, he finally cleared his throat and said quietly, "Uhm, hello, this is Newt? You left your number on Robyn's phone and I know it said it was for emergencies but I really feel as though I should thank you properly somehow for saving my friend.."

she blinked. "oh, hey kiddo. don't worry, i'm just driving so.. youre welcome."

Newt's face flushed as Danny called him kiddo, and he scowled and flipped Robyn off as she giggled in the corner, clearly amused by the whole scenario. He said quietly, trying to keep his voice even - he had a hard time talking on the phone normally, "Well, I mean, I meant taking you out for dinner or something or you know, a drink. I don't know what you like, but I really don't believe in just not giving someone something in return for a favor. Especially one this big." Robyn grinned and mouthed at him, smiling, "are you asking her on a date?" And he let out a small hiss, panicking when he realized it would probably be picked up by the phone.

she blinked. "shit, kid.. i'm sorryC i'm already two states over.. but, i'll call you if i have a case nearby, alright?"

[peridot.]

"Alright, uhm.." Newt seemed to hesitate a second, but Robyn was tugging on his arm and glaring at him, so he sighed, saying quietly to Danny, "Alright, thank you for helping with my friend." He then followed after Robyn, who seemed very eager to leave, understandably.
