he blinked before started to laugh. "oh. oh that! ok, this is actually funny! ok so, i was teaching a bible class, and we got to all of the things the bible said that would be ridiculous today, such as.. not cutting your hair, mixing fabrics, not eating shellfish.. things like that. i belted that out to amuse some of the less religious teenagers." he said and looked at him. "why? what were they doing?"

[peridot.]

"They were drawing some pretty disturbing things because apparently they watched a horror movies when you and Mary weren't around, and they justified watching it by quoting that." He said, sighing a little bit.

[dannychan]

he blinked and felt his face flush in embarrassment. "oh.. uh.. ok.. i guess it's therapy then.."

[peridot.]

"I'm pretty sure you could've determined that from them mutilating animals." He said, sighing and moving over to the other, kissing him on the cheek.

[dannychan]

he sighed. "mary didn't want them to go. said it was a phase." he said. "i can't afford a good one.."

[peridot.]

"I said I would help you out with money." He said softly, gently hugging the other.

[dannychan]

he sighed. "robert, do you have a job right now?"

[peridot.]

"Well... No. Not right now. But I have savings I can dip into, and I can try and get a new job.." He said, frowning a little bit and moving to gently hold the other.

[dannychan]

joseph looked at him. "what.. are you talking about..?"

[peridot.]

"'Daddy says everything society says is a social construct that we've been taught to follow because people think some things are immoral because people wrote a book thousands of years ago and people took it seriously and that we don't have to do whatever society wants.'" He mimicked, word for word, frowning a little.
