he looked at the ground, shaking his head. "no. whatever love she had for me is gone." he breathed and sighed.

[peridot.]

"Well then why do you stay together? I know you have kids, but... Surely you two can be civilized." He then hesitated, biting his lip, "And.. don't tell her I said this, but you'd probably end up with them, given her drinking problem."

[dannychan]

he scowled. "we might as well already be broken up. i hardly ever see her.. i was going to wait until i found someone stable enough to help me with the kids before i signed any divorce papers- which she things i haven't found yet, but the cookie jar lid is a very bad place to hide it."

[peridot.]

"The cookie jar...? Good god." He shook his head and sighed, saying quietly, "Well, again, that's not really something I can help with. Since she refuses to help with the kids, the best I can do is just keep her drunk ass out of your hair. Hopefully you'll find someone who will help you."

[dannychan]

he sighed softly. "the think is, everyone i know is married, doesn't have a job, or is just like her.. or has more kids than i do." he sighed, and they soon arrived at the park.

[peridot.]

"Well then you have to put yourself out there. Expand your horizons to people you don't immediately know." He said, shrugging a little bit and looking around for the children.

[dannychan]

he blinked. "hey, dadbook was already a huge step for me." he said, starting towards the woods.

[peridot.]

As they started towards the woods, Robert glanced around curiously, humming softly under his breath, "Yeah, but you have to keep taking steps you know."

[dannychan]

he sighed, looking at him and hesitating. "does.. does she at least talk about me..?"

[peridot.]

He made a soft noise and winced a little, "Sometimes? Usually it's mostly complaining. Sometimes she talks about you nicely though... She really does love you, I just.. I just don't think she loves you in a romantic way anymore."
