i'd say go for it as long as it's written properly!! it'd be nice to have an accurate representation of schizophrenia for those on the site who are suffering from it

i mean, i had hallucinations (auditory and visionary) when i was much much younger, but i always end up doing something wrong and offending someone? and i don't want that to happen again but i wanna torture my characters

If you don't mind my opinion, I'd say don't do it if it's just to make her suffer. Doing something like that should be for the right reasons and not "just because", like it's the natural result of something else (I haven't researched schizophrenia enough to suggest things that lead to it) or it's necessary to tell Margaux's story. Not just for the sake of torturing her, because there's other ways to do it.
Basically, if you're considering a plot that might upset someone, ask yourself why you want to do it, and see how you feel about the answer.
If you do go through with it though, I'd definitely agree with Wishy.
