It was now December and the week of Christmas. Ever since Edward moved to the new town, he wasnt the greatest. The town was really no better then Gotham, but it worked for now. He was in a small run down apartment. It wasnt in a good part of the town though, so he mostly got mugged while walking on his way to work. Of course, the others didnt leave without injuries as well. He had a few new scars from one of the gangs here. He was currently sitting down on the couch in his apartment, his head leaned back.

The GCPD was having a party this year. The officers were invited. Jim wasnt one for parties, but he would go just because Harvey wanted him there. However he was sitting away from the others, drinking.

after a bit, there was a knock on the door.
dean was alone at this christmas party, which seemed to surprise a lot of people. everyone had a plus one, but he hadn't used it. he was currently sat away from everything, before the music changed to a slow song and dean sighed. he looked around and noticed jim sat alone. he stood and moved over, holding out a hand. "cone dance."

Edward blinked. He frowned din confusion. He then slowly moved over, opening the door.

He blinked, looking at him. "...I'm drinking and you want me to dane?" He asked with a smirk.

and there stood oswald, looking up at him. "ed.." he whispered.
dean chuckled. "i've probably had more than you, now come on. i'm not going to let you sit by yourself at a party, when there's a perfectly good dance partner right in front of you?"

he smiled, holding his hand out to jim. "now come on!"
