A melody that was beautiful but full of threats to other birds to not come near their tree or what they claimed as theirs. The wind smelled fresh as it swept over the mountainous region and she breathed it in faintly from where she sat up high. Some might not even notice that she was up in the trees, resting her tall form on a branch with her back pressed against the trunk. One leg dangled off of the side as she watched the clouds through the sparse covering of the canopy. The blue of the sky was beautiful but the soft whiteness of the clouds even more so. Since coming here the first time and meeting some of the people the woman had decided to say. Even though she erred on the side of caution here when speaking or working with anyone currently. Most of them seemed....okay but she couldn't be too sure of them so she rarely talked and just allowed for them to direct here. Of course she understood that her unwillingness to talk back to anyone could lead to them being suspicious but she tried to make up for it with hard work.
Her hood was down, black hair flowing around her shoulders, a little bit dry and curly today but she'd brush it when she had time. Flicking her gaze away from the sky she focused more on her feet, gazing at the bottom of one and it was split with cracks some blood oozing out. All the rough walking she had done put a number on her feet and she winced internally at the idea of walking on them again. Slowly she pulled her left up and pressed a couple fingers against the bottom of her feet and the pain was instantaneous, still very sore from when she forced herself to climb up here for the view. Sighing dully she sat up then, legs draped on either side of the branch as she pressed her slender hands but calloused hands against the bark of the branch. She wondered if anyone went hunting around here, foraging perhaps. She would prefer the hunting over gathering berries and a few expeditions might be good to kill the mundane tone of these tasks. Glancing down to the ground Crow would hum thoughtfully before she twisted her body and suddenly push up to stand with one leg in front of the other, a balancing act. Despite the pain it caused her feet she looked placid.
