kyungsoo was bubblier than usual today - he had just found a book that he'd been looking for for a week, and better yet, a perfect place to sit down and read it.

he sat down on a nearby log and took in the fresh scents of the morning. he listened to the birds chirp, the autumn leaves rustling as the wind blew through the trees, and smiled a wide, wide smile. he ran his fingers over the cover of the book - robinson crusoe - and began to--

"ahh!"

he tumbled off the log, and his book, hopes, and dreams flew out of his hands all at once. he lay on the ground for a while, twitching, then hoisted himself up to behold the mighty intruder -- minseok's sister. who could have guessed?

— Hair is dark black, and he prefers for it to stay that way.
— Eyes are naturally dark brown in colour. He wears contacts occasionally, but only to help with his eyesight. He prefers glasses, though -- his contacts always feel itchy and uncomfortable and itchy. More often than not, he wears neither, which can have its consequences.

✶ 10 inches, unyielding flexibility.
— Additional notes: Being best suited to wizards that are not “lightly swayed from their beliefs or purposes”, an Ash Wood wand fits Kyungsoo well. Though he threatened to murder his roommates on multiple occasions, Kyungsoo lives by high morals and wouldn’t hurt a fly. He believes that everyone else should abide by similar principles, too -- no fly-hurting is necessary in living your best life. The ideal owner of the ash wood wand is stubborn and courageous, but never crass or arrogant. Whether it come to a robe or specifically colored tablecloth, adamant he is. Kyungsoo also tends to be easily provoked and irritated, but there is no denying that his consideration and understanding of others. Though he’s aware of his intellect, Kyungsoo definitely isn’t the one to brag, and instead prefers a quiet and brooding approach. Ash wood wands, especially with unicorn hair core, are “ought not to be passed on or gifted from the original owner, because it will lose power and skill”. It is because of this that Kyungsoo is incredibly close to his wand, and will often not let it into the hands or even the sight of his fellow pupils unless absolutely necessary.

SKILLS & ABILITIES :

✶ TRANSFIGURATION
— He wasn’t too good at it until he started practicing repeatedly; now, he might as well transfigure in his sleep. It relaxes him, and when he threatens to use vanishing and switching spells on his friends, they know not to think twice before backing down.
✶ DUELING
— The properties of his wand combined with his reserved nature and quiet intellect are ideal in casting spells and winning duels. He hates dueling with a passion - it’s his against his ideals to participate in anything so “rash” and “childish”.
✶ PARSELTONGUE
— Kyungsoo speaks to and understands Parseltongue, but did not inherit it genetically and instead decided to learn it for himself. When he’s tired of talking to people, he talks to serpents -- he didn’t realize it was viewed in a negative light until he came to Hogwarts, where he only communicated with it in secret.
