appearance: Talisman is a rare breed, a tabby tortoiseshell; and a rare genetic freak, as he isn't infertile. Talisman is around average size and slightly above average build with the exception of broad shoulders, with rough, slightly matted short-hair fur, covered in patches and streaks of colour in all directions. He has bands of chocolate brown around his ears, rings around his legs and tail, and stripes towards his rear, as well as one completely brown paw; his front right one. Talisman has soft white fur on the lower half of his underbelly towards his butt and his tail, as well on the first ring of his tail. Talisman has round, almond-shaped eyes that are a bright emerald green, although the colour often saturates when he's tired or drunk.

[spoiler=old ff gallery entry]Talisman is quite a peculiar tom, born to the Leaders of Sunclan – Vertigo and Lovestar. He was born to be a bond of trust between the leaders, a mutual agreement – yet, Talisman and his siblings barely understand that. He’s loyal to his father and knows – or at least believes – that his father is someone he could fall back to. But as he reached his 6th moon, he started to lose faith in his father, that Vertigo wouldn’t take the time to be with them – and it was almost true, Talisman had only seen his father at least 4 times in 5 moons of living. Lovestar? She had a litter with Sabre and left the clan, and he felt alone and betrayed – not by his mother, but by his siblings who saw him as metal, a robot heart.

The tom named Talisman is subject to teasing and pain – he’s got the coat of what only a she-cat should have. He’s a torbie – a tortoiseshell tabby. He’s lithe and gentle, but he has broad shoulders and a muscly build to come. He has bright green eyes that reflect his emotions - but he has a way with hiding pain. He has a signature grin, wild and bright, happy and zany. He’s light on his feet and bouncy.

Talisman is a graceful, kind kitten, but he has a rather short temper sometimes and he can get kinda rude. He’s got a cocky attitude and is quick to forgive, and he’s highly intelligent – and a bit of a scientist. He likes to muck around and learn, and he’s always up for a challenge. He likes to logically think about his troubles but he usually takes the short path, and likes to use the quote ‘leap before you think’. He’s a charmer and a secret-keeper, and he takes his secrets to the grave. This means he’s trustworthy and polite, and absolutely brilliant.
