[size=8pt][font=verdana]Of course it came as a surprise when she passed through realities. She had done nothing that would realistically cause this, for she had been minding her own business as a cold observer like she often did. Refusing to be a member of any clan for the time being, she wasn't aware that many of the members were being transported to this reality. So as the ground beneath her paws shifted in matter and the area darkened considerably as the trees blocked out the sun, she was surprised. It was such a rare emotion for her, and she froze in her place, ready to spread her wings. But in that instant, she realized that there were no muscles present, and she was left glancing at her wingless back. Her expression slowly soured a little as she looked down at the ground far below. Would she really be forced to descend without the mutations that she'd grown so used to? So many strange things were happening in her life. She'd died and then been resurrected. Now she appeared to be in a completely different patch of terrain that reeked strongly of other lifeforms. She was trespassing, wasn't she? She had enough experience to figure this out instantly. Aile would have time to find answers for herself, but her first priority was to get down and try and find the exit for herself. She refused to wait for an ambush from one of the members, which was all she expected. As if mercy didn't exist in the universe.
Despite her previous irritation, her technique was still impressive. She hadn't been forced to climb down normally for such a long time, but her skills seemed to be carved into her very form as she moved with agility, clinging on carefully with her claws. It would be reasonable to thank her light build and her muscular form at this moment, but she wouldn't waste time on trusting her luck. In every direction, she was ready for an enemy to appear out of the darkness, eyes keening watching for anyone who might cause trouble for her. Her claws were out. But she was unlikely to need them. Her leather bag containing her throwing knives had followed her here after all, and she was hesitant to fight at close range when it brought her such extreme discomfort. She always repeated to herself that she didn't want anyone to touch her ever again, but as a prideful fighter she could rarely avoid it. Especially without her feathered appendages which had given her the benefit of distance. But she just needed to throw and run. She was still perfectly fit. She hadn't spent all of her time flying around without continuing to use her legs. That would be stupidity, and Aile would never let laziness influence her. Staying idle and not helping yourself never resulted in anything pleasant after all.
Proceeding through the dark forest cautiously, she blindly wandered without a way to know where her escape was. She didn't have time to contemplate what was going on and why she was in this situation. She would not waste her attention on worrying on anything except the possibility of an attack. But the scent here wasn't familiar, and in a way it was...a relief. Just very vaguely. She'd escaped from all those people that she hated so much as far as she could see. If there was nothing familiar here, then perhaps she'd finally escaped from it all. She didn't consider that she might be in the afterlife. She didn't believe in such a thing. She was destined to live and die, although she had been given a second shot at life and had been wasting it. After her rise to power in the Exiles, she realized that no one could live up to her standards. She endlessly believed that those around her were idiots and traitors. In the end, even Rick had ended up disappointing her. Everyone around me is useless. That bitterness continued to taint her mind, but she looked ahead, continued to wander through Shadowclan's territory. Searching for a way to continue avoiding society like she always had. Because as usual, she was trapped in her own belief that she was superior to those around her and far superior to their 'idiotic' selves.
