Not daring to move an inch, she was suddenly aware that she was no longer sleeping upright with her head under her wings. In fact, it was more like - Oh. She was... she was a cat again? Gasping with shock she jolted to her feet, quickly checking for her appendages; but there she was. It was almost identical to her old body, the black cat body with white paws and long whiskers; dashing to the pool of water she seeped moss in, Belladonna peered over, and two bright yellow eyes stared back.

Closing her eyes, she stopped for a moment. How did she have her old body back? did she... "Did I shapeshift...?" she gasped softly, breathless - and froze for a moment. How did this work? She tried to invision her other body, the dark barn owl body, how the feathers felt under her wings, her hollow bones and heart-shaped face; and as she opened her eyes again, she found herself staring back at her owl body in the shallow pool again.

Completely out of her mind, Bella found herself screaming without willing it.

[CIRCUSCLOWN!]

[align=center][div style="width: 450px;; text-align: justify"][size=9pt]As a scream reached his ears, it sounded like Bellladonna. It immediately made his eyes shoot open, frightened by the outcome. Hadn't she just recovered from getting crushed under those rocks? His scrappy form would be rough to move forward, but he was still racing away nonetheless. Coming to a skid as he managed to find her, he'd nearly hit his head into the ground as he stumbled, before quickly regaining composure. "Bell! What happened, did someone hurt you?" He questioned, a gust of wind blowing his fur around ready to manipulate the heavy amounts of air around him to attack someone or something, or even to lift something.

he is a light brown feline who has a lot of fluffy fur that's often tangled up covered in dirt and dust, and it also feels very greasy and gross. his head is lacking of the light brown color, and is completely white. he has a scar on the left side of his face, which has a stitched up glasgow smile meeting up with the scar. the other side of his face shares a glasgow smile, which is also stitched together. if someone examined it closer, they'd find the scar was infected though he refuses to let anyone touch it to take out the stitches. he has only one eye left which is the right one, and it is a dull blue almost lifeless color that seems to be bagging all the time due to exhaustion. the side of his face which has no eye has stitches on the top of his eye, and his eyelid is often closed over the eye socket that's still there, though it can be open if he is surprised or scared by something. circusclown loves the aspect of family, and sees family as valuable and is desperate to keep them safe. he has a tendency to be very protective, though he tries to be reasonable when he feels something is unsafe. he can be far too cautious, and never seems to let down his guard. while circusclown seems rather laidback, that does not mean someone should assume he will be calm if they happen to anger him. it is hard to anger him, but even when he is angry he is reasonable and under a mask of fury is still managing to keep himself under control, even if it does not seem so. he is however very irresponsible, at least with his own life. he seems to be careless about his own health, never caring when he does something foolish that could bring him pain. he rarely opens up to people unless he sees it as beneficial to do so, and if you betray such trust he will remain closed off from you. he's fairly friendly, and though his neutral expression doesn't always look so nice he is more likely to be smiling or grinning, and he is quite a jokester always liking to joke about and finds himself to be extremely comical even when nobody does. deep down, he remains unhappy, though that doesn't mean he's incapable of laughing or being happy. though, often when he has nothing to laugh at or smile about he has a feeling of discontent hidden in his heart.

[align=center][div style="width: 450px;; text-align: justify"][size=8pt]She'd died, her old body had been slumped and torn apart on the side of a mountain road, and with it, the one thing she still had of her mother - her eyes. She'd taken control of a body of an entire different kind of animal and it terrified her. She had to learn how to fly or die trying. But now.... She was fine. She would be okay.

She turned to face Circusclown as he rushed in, her eyes welling with tears, and before she could speak a word, her body shifted again, like a leaf in the wind, back to her cat body. It was almost like a mirage, how she shifted so painlessly and effortlessly, but it was no parlor trick. Despite her tears, Belladonna gave Circus an uncertain but happy smile.
