[align=center][div style="width:500px;font-size:9.2pt; text-align:justify"]Caustic had no fuckin' idea if this was all the dogs roaming the place. Maybe they should have some kinda pooch master. Kennel person. Keeping track of how many of the guys were around seemed like a job for someone, and that person was not Caustic. He did not have the kind of patience that sort of thing would take. Was there already a dog overseer? Other than Bane, technically; if there was such a person, he obviously had no idea. As usual. His scope was a little limited to making sure Volatile didn't contract sepsis and think that if he hid in a dark corner infection wouldn't be able to find him. Hide and seek with injuries was only fun when Caustic was mostly certain that he wouldn't be finding a corpse.
But anyway, pooches. Examinations. Most were pretty well-trained enough already and were sitting, waiting more patiently than a certain fidgety shithead.
"If you bite me, I'll bite you back," he threatened as he knelt in front of a- well, shit, wasn't like he was a zoologist of dogs. Or something. It was a dog. He pried open the mouth, checking over teeth and gums for any kind of discoloring or decay, maybe some inflammation, but aside from the expected yellowing, nothing jumped out at him. And the dog didn't bite him, so a win-win there. Caustic lifted up the ears, and thankfully didn't see any redness or bites. Dog was healthier than some people were. Eyes weren't weepy or reddened either, seemed to focus normally on him. Seemed alert. Didn't yelp or bite him when he ran his hands over its legs and torso, checking for any sore spots or irregular bumps. "Could probably teach everyone here a thing or two."
Caustic stood up and offered the dog a bone before glancing over the group again.
"Anybody seen more dogs roaming around? Doubt there's only five."
