Post length?

Just out of curiosity, do you find it easier to respond to shorter posts (1-2 paragraphs) or larger posts (3+ paragraphs)? Does it matter to you at all? Or just what are your general opinions on length?

It depends on how much muse I have to be honest! When I'm active with a character I try to respond to as many posts as I can, so length doesn't matter much to me in that aspect!! If it's a private thread, longer posts I struggle to match better, but with shorter posts, like you said, it's easier
If it's an open thread, it's easier for me to respond to long posts, because there's the possibility of other people showing up so I can add more substance, if that makes sense?
Granted, I've had private threads that were pages long with 6+ paragraphs a post, so really I think it just depends on my muse at that moment for that character

More than that and I'll zone out unless it's something I'm really interested in? I prefer long posts in private threads with people I know won't be bothered by it, but short posts in open threads so that it doesn't take me two hours to write a response to that one thing.

I love writing long posts but in the end it comes to time and convenience, and as a busy college student I have very little time in which I need to be in as many threads as I can be. Which doesn't happen when they're all super long or anything.

I usually go short, just because my muse is usually really low or somewhere in the middle; only in rare times is it high.

i am shit at making my words last so my posts are quick to the point, and i find myself matching shorter posts better. sidenote, i also feel less self concious abt my own post length replying to short posts

i find it easiest to respond to posts that are shorter—any longer than three paragraphs and i kinda find it hard to pay attention and it's harder for me to address every point
i like long posts in things like meetings, private threads, development threads, etc. if it's 5 paragraphs of someone going on a walk or smth it's hard for me to reply since most of it is thought or backstory or whatever
but see i don't want REALLY SHORT posts?? it's hard to reply to anything under a paragraph for me, so i like 2-3 paragraphs—that's my little goldilocks zone !!
