He needed to get over himself. He was in a funk because of--well, the news St. Peters had brought. He needed to get his head back in the game, and with his new resolve to make sure those in the lodge were experienced in everything they needed, he figured he could at least help with his own skillset: hunting.
Johannes had grown up hunting, using his spear and bow for fish as well as game such as partridge and rabbit. Larger animals, deer and the like, were something he didn't focus on quite as much, but he still had brought down a whitetail doe more than once. However--deer were not the focus today. Neither were rabbits. Today he had his bow, and his arrows with the lead attached. They were going to go fishing. It was one of their most reliable sources of food--or meat, anyway. Hopefully soon, the greenhouse would be quite consistent, and the rabbits were more for emergencies now since they still had yet to fully recover from the dog attack.
"All right--anyone who doesn't know how to, I want you over here. The more who can catch their own food, the better. I've got out a few extra bows in case you don't have your own, we're--we're going down to the lake." It was just outside the forest; in a pretty large clearing not far from the lodge. The lake was unfrozen, thankfully, and it was a good day for fishing; the sky was overcast but it wasn't bitterly cold.
