it was finally his birthday, and man was he glad to be able to spend it surrounded by so many like-minded people. anyone who lived in badlands had a taste for the party life, indulging themselves in gambling and drinking, music so loud one could hardly hear themselves think. he was twenty-one now and, while he had been drinking for a while before, this was a night he knew he could really let loose. and there was no way he was going to bitch out on a chance like this, especially when he had finally felt safe enough to let his guard down like this.
loud music filled the area outside the casino, the floor almost feeling like it was shaking, and a collection of bodies were clashed against one another dancing along. outside the building was the man of the hour, being lifted upside down on top of a keg. he chugged and he chugged, the words of encouragement from his buddies making him pushing him even further. soon they lowered him to the ground and without a thought, he spat what beer was left in his mouth into the air and threw his hands up triumphantly in the air. "an' thas how you's fuckin do it, badlands!" he announced loudly, pounding his fists against his chest. his hair definitely had beer in it, but he could care less. he reached for a cigarette and popped it in his mouth, lighting it and taking a long drag. "les' go, it's time to party!"
