[align=center][div style="width: 350px; text-align: justify; font-family: times new roman; font-size: 10pt; line-height: 1.4; color: #6B6953;"]ever since she was a little girl, juliette always had an expensive taste in fashion. there was never a day where she left the house in anything less than a cute dress or skirt, sweatpants were only worn in the house if there were no guests and there was only small exceptions for pairs of jeans as long as they were paired with a nice blouse. even after the world went to shit and there wasn’t anything stable, she still only had her eyes set on the labels that were once big names and anything that she deemed fit for the criteria she had for her outfits. on the off days where her hair was up in a bun instead of down in the loose curls she normally sported, she always took the time to make sure every hair was in the exact place she wanted.
most of the time, her knowledge in fashion went towards herself and a few charity cases she picked up along the way. she always had her sight set for some poor soul who wasn’t as fortunate as her to have such a keen eye when it came to clothing and accessories, but those cases were becoming quite rare for her to work on - especially after she had gotten pregnant with the twins and moving from place to place with her dear micah. there was an ache in her heart each time she walked by someone looking oh-so-average, hundreds of thoughts blurring her mind as she thought of all the things absolutely wrong with whatever they were wearing. it was driving her mad.
it wasn’t long in their stay at the badlands that she noticed an abandoned boutique among all of the stores. for awhile she just kept it as a wishful dream and didn’t make any attempts on going into it until about a week after she first noticed it. the first few days were spent going through all the clothes already in there, throwing away the less desirable ones and looking for any that she would want to keep for herself. then began the cleanup process, which she wasn’t very excited about. it felt like it took years to mop all of the floors and dust the shelves - domestic chores were never her favorite.
in the end, all of the work seemed to pay off for her. it was finally at the stage where she got to really put together the selection that she wanted for her boutique. she went through the clothes once more, making the final decision if they were cute enough to even be in her general vicinity. after a lot of thought, she even began to transport some of her own clothes into the building. sure, they were the clothes she started to have a distaste for, but maybe someone else could find the beauty in them again and with that thought alone, it made it easier for her to give them up.
juliette stood in the boutique, a large faux fur jacket wrapped around her body as she hung up a few more hangers of the beautiful dresses she had been focused on. her attention perked up when she heard the bell of the door opening, looking over to greet them with a satisfied smile. "tell me, dear, what do you think? it's absolutely fabulous, isn't it?" as she waited for their answer her eyes looked around in awe at all of the gorgeous clothing she had managed to pull together.
