This was still...surprising to her, that Eddie put her in charge while he was gone but hey, she wasn’t disappointed. So she stood around holding the hell twins on her hips. She had sent Charlotte to tell people there was a meeting - or “meewin wine” as it likely came out from Charlotte. She figured her daughter would enjoy helping out with something she usually saw her Dad do. Tommy on the other hand was sitting by Blake’s feet playing with some toys.

So once Lottie came back, she knew soon the other members would arrive to the surprising sight of Blake holding the meeting - but that was the first thing she had to address.

[div style="width: 425px; margin: auto; text-align: justify; font-family: georgia; color: black"]wren was already settled in. she had a bit of an advanced notice of a meeting, since it took a bit more out of her to attend. her first flintlock meeting! it had been a few days and she was still learning about the condition in which she was found. her memory was still very foggy, but she was beginning to remember bits and pieces about what had happened in the forest. she shifted uncomfortably, fingering a stray bandage wrapped around her hand. the young woman watched as people began to file in. she watched brendan, recalling the fact that she had him to thank for her rescue. he was the one who had found her, after all. edmund had made a brief appearance the day she was rescued, but she hadn't seen him since she woke up. she was very eager for his return, she had so many questions. and of course, he was the person victor had wanted to reconnect with, the whole reason they came to flintlock lodge. huffing, she turned her attention away from her troubled thoughts and on the meeting that was about to begin. she wanted the first foot put forward in flintlock to be a positive one.

— was it bad that freddie hadn't even noticed eddie was gone? then again, fred never claimed to be aware of those around him - usually he was too busy focusing on himself and how he was perceived by others - but it still came as a shock when he wandered into the meeting to see the leader wasn't standing in his usual spot. instead, blake stood, holding the little twins on her hips.

edmund's absence went right over his head. bet ed would love to know that.

sliding in to a comfortable spot, he nodded casually towards blake in silent greeting. maybe this meeting would be more entertaining now that baby-faced eddie wasn't in charge this go-around.

She was a bit concerned when a young child ran up to her and invited her to a town meeting. She hadn't been doing anything important at the time, simply walking around aimlessly to try and familiarize herself with the place, but mostly just getting herself lost. When the little girl came up to her, announcing that it was meeting time, she glanced around a bit uneasily. Kids probably shouldn't be roaming about on their own. She didn't get a chance to ask about her parents' whereabouts, though, because she was already sprinting over to the next person. Alright, then.

Following the flow of people, Naomi stepped into the room and looked around at all the new faces, a friendly smile plastered on her face as she focused on Blake. Her previous worry was quelled, too, when she noticed the children around the redhead, one of them being the little girl. What a bunch of cuties.

he just finds a seat, leaning back and stretching his legs out in front of him. taking in everybody who’s there, he spots the girl who only recently got to the lodge, at least he’s pretty sure it’s her. it had been dark and she looked like hell before.

She was certainly glad and...almost relieved that so many people arrived to the meeting. But she waited until a majority had arrived and Lottie settled at her feet to play with Tommy. "I’ll start with introducing myself, as I don’t recognize everyone and I’m sure seeing some random chick up here is confusing” she started, bouncing the four month old boys in her arms to get a better hold on them. She was just grateful they weren’t cranky.

"I’m Blake and these are my kids, Thomas and Charlotte are the older two, Keiron and Louis are the two in my arms." she introduced, bouncing the younger two again when she said their names as to indicate which is which. Now, for the real shit.

"I’m sure those that know me are surprised to see me here - trust me I get it - but surprise, I’ve been left in charge. Eddie had some business to take care of so he’ll be gone for a couple weeks." she scanned her eyes across the group who had gathered as she spoke. "But don’t think just because he’s gone it means any of you can get away with something. Just act better than my two toddlers and we won’t have an issue." she had been seen as a mom for a while, and she definitely didn’t want someone to try anything because Eddie was gone. And while she didn’t think anyone would try anything, she just needed her bases covered so to speak.

"But to all the new faces, welcome to Flintlock Lodge. I apologize for maybe not being the introduction to the lodge but I do hope you enjoy your time here." she offered with a smile, though as the younger two got fussy she sighed "If there’s any questions or anyone just wishes to talk to me please feel free. Otherwise enjoy dinner and I hope you guys have a lovely night"

[div style="width: 425px; margin: auto; text-align: justify; font-family: georgia; color: black"]she was adequately surprised at the swiftness of her first meeting as a resident of flintlock. she was mildly annoyed, too. the effort and pain of getting up out of bed only to sit through thirty seconds of talking. the kids were cute to look at though, so maybe that would lighten her mood. still, wren watched as people slowly got up and began to file out, as if this was business as usual. was this the normal pace here? was this why victor wanted to be here so bad? because things were slow and predictable? stable? even more annoyed that her intrusive thoughts were beginning to cast gloom over her efforts of positivity, wren slowly brought herself to her feet, the usual ache of soreness beginning to settle back in. god, she couldn't wait to be healed. she recognized a few people who were there the night of her rescue, and she flashed a quick, grateful smile to them.
