So uh, most likely know me as the Darky who plays Salem of BL and Bub of LS, i'm That Person.

Phrasing this is,,, difficult but I'll give it a shot. I'm taking a mental health break from BB; I'd already been planning on stepping back at the beginning of May, but some recent RL events plus a few epiphanies on my part made me realize that BB is not currently an environment that's helping me grow and live my best life.

I'll still exist in some capacity, likely just lurking in my storage thread, etc; but I'm not going to be roleplaying in any big groups for a while, and I'm unceremoniously dropping my characters.

I'm really sorry about it since I wanted to continue to lead BL until the end of April, and I had a bit of stuff still going on with Bub, but I'm not in a state to continue to lead a group like BL and I think stepping back from BB roleplaying entirely will be a necessary break for my continued health. I've asked Aj / her character Mike to lead BL and she's accepted, and I have high hopes she'll do well for BL.

I'll be dropping out of the BB discords as well, but if anybody needs me then they can pm me here and ask for my discord! My break isn't the fault of anybody on BB, I just need some time to focus on other things that make me happy.

Real life always comes first. I'll definitely miss you, and your characters around, but I respect your decision to take a break. Mental health is very important.
