Rapidpaw had been wandering around the camp as she didn’t have much to do. Plus, it was rather hot out today, so that just made everyone more drowsy and lazy. Rapidpaw let out a soft breath before her gaze landed on a small kit. Morningkit. She would soon be joining the other apprentices.

Rapidpaw noticed the kit had the sun glaring down directly on her though. Rapidpaw slowly made her way over, sitting beside the kit so her shadow could offer some shade to Morningkit.

[align=center][div style="0px; width:500px; height:auto; text-align: justify; font-size: 10pt; line-height:13px;"] Hot days really sucked and there seemed to be more and more of them. Pebblekit enjoyed the breeze that rolled through, wondering if running with the wind would help. His eyes scanned around till they landed on Morningkit and Rapidpaw, making his way over to join the two. Were they tired and hot like he was? Looking over the two, he became nervous and unsure if he should day anything or not. So, he just sat down near them and looked straight ahead. ""

[justify]as per usual, wax was stuck in camp, doing chores and trying his best to be even a little productive. of course, he wasn’t doing a great job, but he was at least trying. as he heard voices, he’d turn to see the three socialising and sigh. he slowly moved over, scraggly legs pulling him along. “hey, you three.”

Rapidpaw glanced over when the deputy headed over. She dipped her head in greeting, her tail flicking slightly. "Hello Waxface. It's nice to see you out and about instead of sleeping the day away." Rapidpaw murmured.

It was a long day, a tiring day, and as the sun started it's slow decline down the sky, the kitten sighed deeply, creeping into as much of the shadow of the tall grass and rocks she could fit under. Though more than half her body was still in the hot sunlight, a fact that made the kitten quite annoyed. She did not, DID NOT, want to go to a covered spot where she would not be able to see the pretty birds, and bees, and butterflies floating around. No, that was an existence she refused to live, even if all she wanted to was to get into the shade, and out of the sun.

The black and red kitten tilted her head to the side as clumps of dirt rolled slowly past her, prompted by the gentle wind that had picked up. Ah, just what she needed in this head, a nice breeze. She felt a trill and soft purr begin to well up inside of her.
