Sujan is a stupidly blunt person. He doesn't sugarcoat anything he says, mostly because he doesn't care to or really know how. The knowledge that his life is almost certainly going to be much shorter than everyone else's means he doesn't think it necessary to live an existence trying to please everyone whilst denying himself his own honesty, so lying about opinions is pretty much nonexistent with him; he says it as he sees it. He's a thoughtful, reflective person, but he's so honest regardless of this that he can oftentimes be seen as offensive. With children, he's surprisingly good, and will soften his words for them, but adults aren't given such courtesy, and must learn to deal with his straightforward manner of speaking. He isn't purposely mean, however; bluntness can just as easily manifest itself in the form of compliments. (He just won't lie.)

Physically unable to do anything strenuous due to a heart condition. Too much activity / strain / emotion can potentially kill him (or, at best, cause him to pass out), and he's on medication that stabilises his emotions and keeps him ridiculously levelheaded as a side effect. Sarcastic, unafraid of his own mortality, weirdly intelligent, and pretty damn chilled. The undisputed master of deadpan. Even so, he isn't emotionless, and he certainly isn't immune to his own feelings. Still skeptical of romantic love due to the knowledge that it could quite literally kill him.
