Could be a group entirely made of NPCs so it's pretty much a field day when it comes to violence, might serve as an interesting warning for other groups, and has the added benefit of landmarks or IC conflict? However, something like that can get boring if the NPCs aren't creatively used and nobody's there to fight back. It DOES have the added benefit of complete control over how it starts, progresses, and ends. That way it doesn't drag on for months until people lose muse.
oooo! i actually really like this idea?? we could definitely do it since we wouldn't have to get actual groups involved bUT it can be just,, a thing for the badlands to do and get known for.

- As for the OOC community, I like to hear that we've been improving! Granted, it's still being worked on constantly so I apologize for anyone who still doesn't see a difference, but we're aware of this and we're trying to get a grasp on it. From a perspective, the Badlands is a pretty big group. Even the Discord has 19 people in it, and it's even active when not everyone is posting in it. I feel like people are going to get overlooked at some point though, and while it seems bad, it's never intentional.

- And while we're still focusing on Discord, I'm still trying to keep a balance between using that platform and using the regular BB chat. I like how we've been using it more lately, and I appreciate that. I know that it doesn't get nearly as hyperactive as Discord, which is nice for most, but maybe I could make a thread to store memes relating to the Badlands? Because, like Darwin said, it would be nice for those without access to Discord to get in on that action as well.

- ALSO about the Discord but it was brought up um- it can be crazy to moderate because it's not onsite and it just- really depends who's in there? I can assign people to moderate but I feel like that would be unneeded pressure and I just feel like there would need to be set rules if anything (because I wouldn't want anyone feeling uncomfortable or pressured to leave). There was an incident a few days ago concerning this, but this issue is currently being ironed out from what I've heard, so I'm,, not gonna say much on it.

- As for feeling IC included, I would also like to apologize for that. I've been made aware of this and have been posting in as many threads as possible, but again, it's not a one-person effort. I feel bad when I see someone's thread getting buried while others are being replied to. Sometimes I can't reply at the time for a particular reason or sometimes I would rather wait before including myself in a thread, but it's frustrating when they just don't get any action at all. And, like I said before, sometimes I don't know how to place my character in a thread and I feel like it would make for an awkward/unnatural interaction if I forced him in there. I've done it? But again, it felt a little unnatural. In conclusion, I'd like for everyone to make an effort to respond to threads that need replies. I totally get not being able to post for some reason, but it starts to feel exclusive once it gets buried on the board.
I personally don't see the lack of old/new member interaction, but maybe others do, so I'd suggest maybe popping into the chat to ask for some threads or even make a plotting thread? It kind of sucks though since plotting threads don't get a whole lot of attention, I've noticed. Maybe, along with making one for yourself, then go visit some other plotting threads and check them out? Or possibly PM the roleplayer of another character if you feel like their interactions are interesting and you'd like to explore it further.
