THE LAST TIME YOU CAME THROUGH - 2/1 MEETING

okay, first clan meeting as a leader. he had this in the bag, right? right..

"first, i'd like to state that saturdays will be the real day of weekly meetings, it just took me a bit this time around." okay, now that he'd said that, that meant he had to keep his promise. but who knew, he might end up slacking again. but he told himself he wouldn't, right?

"continuing on, i'd like to welcome any new joiners. it's not easy living in a glorified mud puddle at times, but you seem to take it well." pausing and looking around, floral let out a soft breath, before pushing onwards. "i'm also here to let those who are long-time members or not, that it's totally okay to greet loners or joiners if i'm not around, and to bring them to the camp, as long as you're in sight of them. even if you do see me with them, please, feel free to welcome them."

relaxing a little, floral's tailtip twitched. "we don't have a lot of allies or enemies at the moment, and i think i speak for us all when i say i'd rather keep the other clans as allies, or neutrals. so, i'd like to ask that if you have any time, stop by the other clans with a gift, perhaps. i'm personally going to visit bloodclan in a little bit with a gift, so feel free to go in a group, or alone. just, tell one of us, okay?" smiling, floral took a long breath.

"it sounds lame, but all of you have been huge helps to me. so, you know, this is kinda an entire clan shout-out." floral was really bad at picking out people (floral liked being picked out, after all), but this wasn't an excuse, he really did appreciate them all. "oh, and now we have the apprentice thread figured out, in case you're looking for a mentor or apprentice, you should check that out. additionally, i'm going to have a small interest check for higher positions, just more or less in the terms of priests, medics, and all that fun stuff. that's all, love you guys, clan meeting over."

and with that, floral jumped off his rock.

Floralghost's first clan meeting was an inevitability, as certain as sunshine and rain. Though they adjusted without a hitch to the new leadership, and their support and confidence in Floral's ability is sincere, Halo still feels... off-kilter, like they're playing a song only once heard by ear. In a week or so, things should settle into, not a routine, but something more familiar at least. For now, she acknowledges her unsteadiness. Before they sit down in front of the boat, in answer to his call, they indulge a momentary flicker in their mask of warm smiles— closing their eyes for the briefest second, drawing in a composing breath— before reopening their eyes and letting a serene smile spread across their maw. A plaid blue bandana circles her throat.

They allow a soft laugh to escape at Floral's description of RiverClan's territory, but are otherwise silent. Greet more joiners, gifts for other clans... she makes note of it all, saving her words for after the meeting. He's sweet— "love you guys"? That's cute. Seriously. Halo is genuinely endeared, but they set it aside, only sparing Floral a friendly smile, to say, "I'd be happy to visit ShadowClan, and I wouldn't mind company." She grins. "Or ideas on what to give as gifts. Perhaps they'll appreciate some board games."
