You stayed outside till the morning light -- p, kai

She smiled and took his hand that was offered to help her up from the ground "Thank you" she responded before going on to brush off the skirt of her dress. She couldn't quite tell if the dress was dirty but she certainly hoped it wouldn't be. She then would walk with Kai in silence, which was truly nothing new between them. It spoke more than they thought, but overall was nothing new. Eury was too lost in her thoughts to really think anything of it.

Eury didn't want things to go back to normal, back to them acting like they didn't know each other. Though last time it ended in a kiss, the kiss being almost like a goodbye as then the two would only acknowledge each other in passing. They wouldn't spend time together like they were now but Eury didn't also make a habit of bringing food over. But even when she did that, it was more to ease her mind that he was alright than to strike any sort of conversation. Even with that, this was the first time they really talked and that was only because her worry got the best of her.

"Goodnight" she responds, watching Kai turn to walk away before some feeling came over her. She started rambling, stuttering along her way but just talking with little breath as if she was trying to get everything out before something happened. What that something was she wasn't sure, but she could feel her chest getting lighter as she spoke, saying what she wanted to in hopes that they wouldn't go back to being strangers.

She wasn't sure what she expected, but this wasn't it.

He caught her off guard as he cupped her face, even more so when his lips crashed against hers. It would take her a few moments to get rid of that surprised feeling but when it was gone the kiss was returned as did the feelings that she had been trying to hard to get rid of. It also added so many more questions like what did this mean in regards to her question? Was this just like last time, meaning it meant nothing? Or was this some way of him telling her that he liked her too? She wasn't sure what to think nor would she get any real verbal confirmation one way or another.

When Kai pulled away, she sort of just stood there in some daze, watching him with the look she had always looked at him with. The one that gave away how she felt about him since they were young. "Goodnight, Kai" she responded, watching him head back to his home for a moment before smiling to herself and heading inside for the night.
