It was mid afternoon by the time Bonnie made it to the outskirts of the city. She lead a burdened horse beside her, not wanting to hurt him further with her own slight form, she opted to walk beside the patient animal instead. It had been a while since she'd seen a city... and the sight was one for sore eyes.
She approached the outskirts hesitantly and squinted at the figures of people in the distance. "Hello?" She called out loudly, hopefully this was a place she could pay to spend the night, it wasn't like she had much of tradable or sellable goods, but she hoped they'd let her spend a night or two out of the goodness of their hearts. Maybe they'd... she fingered the necklace around her throat, but it would be so painful to give it up...
She brushed her hair back and continued forward, "Is there someone in charge I can talk to?" She asked hesitantly.

The newcomer was, to say the least, gorgeous. Salem didn't know how to deal with gorgeous.
"Hello," Salem said a bit too loudly before pausing, simply staring at Bonnie. She tried to memorize her facial features: a girl like her probably wouldn't stay long here. Eventually, she realized that she was there to greet her, not scare her.
"Salem. I am...not in charge." Was all she could manage to say. She wasn't much of a greeter, normally. Hell, she was hardly ever the first one to go up to someone. But, as fate would have it, of course she'd be the first one to greet a pretty girl. VITALS > overall status: 100%

[align=center] Ooh. This person sounded lost. That could only mean one thing -- a new person!
Albeit more of a natural introvert, Mutt still had a strong sense of curiosity and opted to follow Salem in greeting the stranger. The young man fixes his gaze onto the girl, a hint of a smirk tugging at his lips. What's up with all of these travelers having horses? There sure were a lot of them. "Hey, I'm not in charge either! I guess we're both useless in this situation." Mutt chimes in, folding his arms in a casual manner. She's pretty, he notes. He's not the type of guy who likes to pick up every girl he finds attractive, and while he's perfectly capable of flirting, he decides against it today for some reason.
Whelp, just because neither of them were "in charge" didn't mean that they couldn't make casual conversation in the meantime. He raises his brows. "You got a name? Or is that classified information?" Eugh, maybe he should just stop. He was getting into the habit of teasing newcomers lately and he didn't want to necessarily be known as the local annoying prick. Mutt was just... playful. Yeah, that's how he'd put it.

Where y’at? ❞ Teddy greeted nonchalantly as he strolled on over, wedging himself effortlessly in the space between Salem and Mutt as he gazed across at the newcomer.
Soon, a curious smile twitched at his lips, gaze darting across the woman’s features before he questioned, ❝ Well? What brings you to da Badlands? ❞ He was unaware that the woman was in search for someone in charge but, with the way he worked the room (or outskirts, in this case), it was clear to assume that he either ruled the roost or really wanted to.

Bonnie’s face broke into an effortless smile as Salem approached. She figured she was either in Salem, Massachusetts. Or this lovely young woman was named Salem. She figured it was the latter. Then a young man appeared and Bonnie flashed him with her cheerful, dazzling smile as well.
At his question she nodded. "I do in fact have a name! Go figure." She answered glibly, about to state her name when Teddy arrived. She looked him over and shrugged. He seemed needy. At least for attention, and so she gave him a weaker smile.
"I’m looking for a person in charge or at least eomeone who can make grown up decisions." She said cheerfully. "I’m Bernadette by the way. But everyone calls me Bonnie." A seeming ray of sunshine with a hint of sarcasm, that was her. Bonnie Herald.

"First lesson, lay off the sarcasm when tryin' to get in. Probably go a lot smootha" Call it growing up in the family that he did, him dealing with his brothers and other members of the old group. He stood nearby the others, a cigarette sticking out of his mouth - clearly it wasn't he who Penny chose to steal from today.
He had one hand in his pocket, the other moving to take the cigarette from his mouth to exhale the smoke "He's one of the ones in charge" he gestured towards Teddy, a rather amused look now on his face "So if y'wanna stay, you should probably watch ya mouth" he mused on, Lorenzo was definitely the one who didn't hold back what he was saying - something picked up from Nonna. But hey - at least he didn't start fights like his brothers. He and Pen knew how to be menaces while still staying under the proverbial radar.

she seems to arrive quite on time to hear the girl , who seems to be searching for someone in charge. despite her sunny disposition , there is an undertone that almost misses bea. having caught it , however , bea can't hide the frivolous grin on her face. many would find it quite easy to guess that teddy was an authoritative figure of some sort, as the way he spoke all the way down to the way he held himself almost radiated "look whose boss", but bonnie didn't seem impressed. nor did she seem to care.
bea noted almost immediately that she liked this girl. maybe after the crowd subsided she could introduce herself and show her around , she thinks. show that not all of these faces in the crowd weren't as intimidating as they seemed. she could have used that while joining. but for now — and as usual — beatrice takes her place in the background , bumping mutt lightly with her elbow in case he happened to not have noticed her presence.
