Inspired by a conversation earlier today, I had a thought which was quite interesting: what if groups in TNW started to develop their own coat of arms to show their allegiance to their group? Think the way the Hogwarts houses have their own crests, or the families in GoT have their heraldry. An animal or something that represents the group as a whole! Would people be interested in developing this as an idea with me?
If people are interested, I'd love to hear what symbols you can imagine being a group's heraldic bearing! And, if we gather up enough ideas for each group, I could perhaps create a poll to decide on the winner for each group's new coat of arms design!
So, I personally like the idea as it will further create that apparent loyalty people have to their group. The bearing can be designed in a way where it's put on clothing for representatives to identify themselves, or put on weapons or flags to show what's theirs. As for the designs itself, these were the ideas I thought of. For Los Santos, I felt it ought to be up to the group leader to decide if they wanted the group to have a coat of arms and, if so, what design, so that's why I've not included them here!
Flintlock: I imagine a stag, wolf or bear
Badlands: I imagine a lion or snake and knife
Bluestem: I imagine a horse, an eagle or a ram
Northstar: I imagine otter, barracuda or heron
So. I'd be grateful to hear your guys' opinions on this! I know it's not that big of a deal in the grand scheme of things, but I think it would be fun if groups have smth to represent themselves by!
