* Had went by many names throughout the centuries, though at the moment, he goes by Buddy. It was a recent change as his previous name was Boomer because he thought it was a popular name everyone would say to fit in. Then someone pointed out to him the actual meaning of the slang before he was assisted to get a better name. Eventually, he decided to call himself Buddy to show that he is known to be a good friend to have.
* Cis male, identifies himself as demimale; goes by masculine and neutral pronouns with no preference.
* Appears to be in mid forties, though his actual age is unknown. There is a rumour that he was born to a Vampire a couple years after the vampiric race existed.
* Biromantic bisexual. He is hopelessly romantic as he loves the idea of being with someone, despite the times he had lost his loved ones, so it is ridiculously easy for him to form crushes.
* Portrayed by Taika Waititi, specifically as Viago from What We Do In the Shadows ( 2014 ).
* Earth's worst vampire, and not in a way of being terrible, period, but literally being terrible at being a Vampire. He is... not very subtle with his true identity, as he have a habit of hissing over everything and making bat squeak sounds when he's excited. He also makes a lot of comments that can imply that he is a Vampire from making vampire related puns / jokes to kinning himself to vampire characters like the ones from Twilight or the Originals. Many supernatural beings would facepalm themselves at his sheer foolishness while many Humans would raise their eyebrows at his complete weirdness. Buddy is on his own side when he doesn't fit into both the human and supernatural societies very well because of his strangeness. It is a lonely place to be in, but he is just trying his best.
* Buddy is known to be a silly Vampire who only wishes peace and love for all kinds. He believes that certain actions, such as feeding and killing, can be understood and forgiven if only intended to help others and / or themselves. Everyone has their own story that would explain their actions, so Buddy refuses to judge others and hates having to take a side with anyone. He holds a rather naive and innocent attitude that would have anyone believing he was part of the Supernatural just so recently, though he has been around for a long time. Seriousness does not fit with Buddy at all when it easily drains him. He loves to be loud, funny and social, being the great light in others' lives, especially those who are in their darkest times. He is very clumsy though, especially at being a Vampire, so there will be times when Buddy does or gets into anything like him tripping over the air.
* Slurs his f's. s's and z's due to his prominent fangs preventing him from pronouncing the words properly. Worsens with the stutters when experiencing high emotions. There are few cases when being in a distressed state would have him wishing to no longer speak at all as it would make his sentence be intolerable to hear, even to his own ears, from his continuous stutters and slurs. He only gets self-conscious with them when he can longer form a sentence without it having so many stutters at once, before he forces his voice down.
