[align=center][div style="width: 390px; text-align: justify;"]He just wanted to rest after a very long day. after the meeting had ended, he had told sel that he would go exploring, see what kind of houses there were to claim, he’d tell her where he was staying later. if anyone thought that he would be staying in that vreepy old hotel, they were very, very wrong. especially after hearing all the stories from the NPCs that had lived here much longer then him.. and mitch happened to be a very avid believer of ghosts. so, the hotel was a very big no from him.
he had found himself wandering into one of the neighbourhoods with big houses, houses thathad massive yards and three stories. many of them were empty or filled to the brim with people sharing the big house. he looked at mitsy, his massive old rottweiler, and hummer. “i don’t think we’d be able to live in one of these places alone, do you?” he asked the dog, who simply huffed in response, as if to say ‘i totally agree’.
so he had turned back the way he came, taking a different road this time. they had come to a place with much smaller homes, big enough to fit a family of two or three, if you tried hard enough. one seemed to catch his eyes, however, and mitsy seemed to like it too, considering she was dragging him right into the yard- or she was chasing a squirrel, he realised, so he gently pulled her leash to halt her. he stared up at the one story house, the stone fence that surrounded the yard seemed in pretty good shape- not too much damage but also not pristine.
he moved to the wooden door that led into that led into the yard, pushing it open and letting mitsy off her leash so he could go explore. the walk way was long and led to a wall with quite a few archways to walk through- which he did, walk through them, at least. he found himself on a patio, one with plants everywhere, causing an overgrowth of vines that crawled up every wall. in the center say an old, broken fountain that definitely wouldn’t be working any time soon, and clay steps leading to a dark wooden door.
stepping inside, he found what had to be the perfect home for him. small, simple, just like his trailer. the door opened to a mud room, a small one, and into a little kitchen. there was an archway to the left of the fridge, that led into a little den area, which had two door ways. the closest door went into a small, run down bathroom, and the other one led to a very small bedroom with a slightly larger bathroom attached to that.
it didn’t take long for him to decide this was his home now, so he moved out back onto the patio, leaning against an archway as he watched mitsy lay in the sun, seeming perfectly at home in their new yard.
