Tigertuft was rather fond of how quiet it was, she seemed to prefer it over a louder group but it seemed odd that everyone had disappeared as if the forest had been affected by something. She wanted to head out and check the thunderclan border, see if there was any life out there. ”I’m leading a border patrol to check the markings near the thunderclan border” the she cat meowed as she stood near the entrance of camp, flicking her tail as she awaited anyone else’s call.

But they were so few in numbers these days. Were the other clans the same? He thought so, considering he hadn't heard from them in a long time. The clan seemed quiet lately; she wasn't sure if it was always supposed to be this quiet, but all the older cats seemed unnerved by it so it must be bad. Mothpaw nearly tripped over her paws as she trotted over towards Tigertuft and Birchstar, the bright-eyed apprentice glancing between them excitedly.

"Can I come too? Please?" Mothpaw pleaded, tail held high. Sure she might be young or whatever, but with how quiet the forest was it meant there'd probably be no danger.

Hearing Birchstat speak up the she-cat perked her ears as he approached. "Great to have you on the patrol Birchstar, there shouldn't be too much trouble but it's always good to check things out and see if the other clans are about" Tigertuft mewed, giving a small dip of her head towards him. Looking over she saw Mothpaw approaching them and asked them if she could join. Tigertuft didn't see why not, personally she didn't think much was going to happen but ultimately that decision was up to Birchstar himself as she wasn't sure if she could make that decision. "Can she join us on the patrol?"
