BABY DONT DANCE ★ meeting 11/15

NOW ALL YOUR LOVE IS WASTED
THEN WHO THE HELL WAS I?
Another week, another meeting. Problem being, there wasn't much to report. It wasn't like every week was going to be absolutely productive or whatever. Some weeks nobody did anything. Videogames hadn't done much more than goof off himself, he wasn't gonna lie. But! This week! He had plans! Not outstanding plans, but plans nonetheless. He might have to talk to Lemy about how to work on this stuff.
"Meeting time, everybody!!" Videogames is absolutely outstanding at shouting at the top of his lungs. He probably didn't have to -- most people knew where the meeting was hosted, and when, but it didn't hurt to make sure!! The serval scrabbles against the tall tree in the clearing, beaming as he settles. And, if, when, people gather, he continues.
"So!! It's snowing," Nobody ever said Videogames was any good at hosting meetings. He lets his announcement hang for a second. Snow was nice, if inconvenient. "Thisss being said, I hope everybody has their winter gear!! If you don't, we have some set up uh ... in the shaman's cave. Don't take the shaman's gear -- there's a table." He frowns. Gathering gear for all sorts of sizes was .. annoying. But! He'd done it successfully!! With plenty of styles. That 'beggars couldnt be choosers' line sucked, so he did his best to ... not ... make it like that. "Expect some minor snow-related events from me," Videogames grins crookedly, his tail flip-flopping from side to side. He's quiet for a moment, gathering his thoughts before continuing, thank god. He was prone to running his mouth if he didn't think about his words a little beforehand. And then people get upset.
"We're gonna be setting up HP tryouts and a mass adopt sometime soon, so keep an eye out for those!!" Activity would be good. So that they don't just ... crash and burn, and all that. His tail swishes again. He's not particularly good at meetings. Yikes. It's good enough, though. The serval straightens up and stretches, tail still restlessly moving behind him. "We'll be having ... some sort of event this day next Thursday. Don't know what, though!" He chirps, a little carelessly. A feast? A turkey catch?? That'd be fun. Just a little event for his fellow Valers. "Uh -- unless Lemy or anybody has anything to say, that's all?"
//SUMMARY:
-there's winter gear for valers who dont have any in the shamans den sdfsdf
-HP TRYOUTS & MASS ADOPT will be linked here once im done with them!!
-some sort of thanksgiving event is in the works. (itll probably be a turkey catch event. itll be cool.)

— Lemy himself wasn't a terribly productive individual, most of his 'contributions' amounted to just doing whatever Videogames told him to do. He had a feeling he'd have to stop doing that sooner or later, hopefully before Videogames caught on. The pale feline released a yawn as he made his way to a spot beneath the tree. Jeez, Lemy liked the snow and the winter season, but unfortunately, it made him lazier. All he craved in winter was a nice warm place and a nap. He settled down close to the tree, pulled his cloak closer to his body and turned his attention to Videogames' announcements.

Winter gear, huh? He probably had some in the mess that was his den, but if he found himself lacking then he'd just snatch some from the shamans' den. Maybe steal the entire table for a day to see if anyone noticed. Other than that everything seemed pretty standard - snow events, tryouts, mas—oh no, Videogames was acknowledging him. He didn't have anything to say, as a matter of fact, much less have an event planned, but he wasn't going to announce that to the entire group.

Lemy's ever-present grin widened as he clapped his paws together. "Mhm, well, I have something planned as well! It's going to be fun, okay? Keep your eyes peeled!" That was a total and utter lie, but one thing he was really good at was bullshitting with a smile on his face.

Sigmund had always been interested in meetings. He liked knowing what was going on in the clan, since he lived there and all. Of course, he usually knew much of what was said anyway just from rumors and things, but there were certain things no one could truly predict. The canine had always seen himself as a responsible member of the Moonlight Vale. He got his work done on time, sometimes early, which was nice. He also enjoyed the feeling that only those who kept up with the workings of the clan enjoyed. Which was... basically unanimous throughout the clan. It was very small. There wasn't much to keep track of.

As he listened through the announcements, he noted the two promises of... something happening later this week. Alright then. He'd keep an eye out, but the statements were so ambiguous, he wasn't sure what to keep an eye out for. A vague feeling nagged at him that Lemy wasn't being entirely truthful about things in store, but he dismissed it. Lemy did a good job as an adviser. He was probably telling the truth.

“ IF YOU'RE LEAVING BABY LET ME DOWN SLOWLY! ”

Much like Sigmund, Ian took great enjoyment out of knowing what was going on in his home. He liked listening to meetings and announcements, keeping himself up to date on whatever was happening. Of course, his assistance or participation in what came of meetings was shaky at best. Regardless, he considered himself moral support. That was all they needed, right?

When the announcement was made, Ian scrambled over to listen in on what would be said. He'd not been sleeping much lately, so the serval was a bit more clumsy than usual as he approached and settled down onto the soft ground. His groggy hazel eyes switched between his father and Lemy with growing interest.

Listening in a surprising silence, the youth couldn't help but begin to bubble with excitement and anticipation. Wow, these surprise event were really being talked up. He couldn't wait to see what was in store.
