okay so literally none of this is fleshed out yet but i wanted to check if anyone would be interested in this before i develop it more! basically it's a group themed around modern witchcrfta/paganism, within what the realism of tnw allows. here's some basic points that i've been brainstorming, to basically start a foundation for this!
- a group themed around paganism and modern day witchcraft, research this
- they live in an old abandoned castle, the grounds are large and overgrown, maze gardens and weird misshapen topiaries that used to be super pretty
- there's a wall around the castle and inner gardens, most of the area within that wall is relatively well maintained?
- lots of fruit trees, big vegetable gardens and wild orchards
- there's a forest to the northern and eastern sides of the castle, the south and west are rolling meadows broken up by the occasional stream or river
- the rooms within the castle are still usable for accommodation, and seeing as the castle is pretty old it wouldn't have been outfitted for electricity anyway. there's torches along the halls and the kitchens used a wood stove to cook their food. fireplaces are pretty common throughout the rooms and there's a wood mill not far from the castle
- there are probably safe rooms that have been warded/had defenses set up for performing rituals, these guys have been here a while maybe?
- very homey and like,,, close knit group?
