I DON'T KNOW WHERE I'LL REST MY HEAD TONIGHT
Within the ruins of what they assumed to be some kind of temple, the sound of claws scratching on stone was unmistakable; the shuffling of fluttering wings was a bit more difficult, as Vazor wasn't entirely flying but merely attempting to glide from one spot to another.
Clinging to a particularly large broken chunk of stone, Vazor examined her surroundings with mild boredom. One would think such a place would at least be home to a rodent or something, something useful she could at least eat, but either the sound of the wyvern scuttling among the stone had scared off all the potential prey or this place was completely abandoned.
Oh well, that was fine; at least she could use this place as a roof for the night. She was still getting used to the whole sleeping outside thing, and she wasn't exactly a wilderness survival expert. Avras had always been the smart one, always very quick on his feet to catch prey; the thought of him soured her mood though, so she quickly tried to stop thinking about him.
Huffing, she slunk off the stone and crawled across the floor. She used the abundant cracks to drag herself further across the stone, her long hooked claws not doing much good on an entirely flat surface. Once she managed to crawl over towards the roots of a tree stubbornly growing through the stone, she clawed her way up onto the largest of the roots and curled up there.
So there, in the shadows of the impossibly large tree, Vazor drifted in and out of sleep. Shivering from the cold and stomach growling, it wasn't the best nap, but it was better than nothing.
