I'm gonna dump random ideas that I have for this place here

 Mass adoptions! a bunch of kids up for adoption that people can get, some with predetermined details and others without?
 Angie leaving to scout out the next territory and leaving ,, probably Sarah in charge, Samantha if there's resistance. Would give me a break if I need it

 A coup! Either Gene or Samantha would be the most likely candidates to take over tbh, tho idk what would happen
 Angie and Peter scouting out the Badlands. not to raid but. they both know their time in TYR is limited so they're trying to figure out wtf to do
 Raiding another group, maybe? or raiding an npc place. Something
 Angie finding out that Casey is Gene's father and that they're conspiring, and tries to discredit him with that. it might work or blow up in her face
