OTHERSIDE / open, truth and dare

Edward was far from a social type, he didn't like these sort of games a lot, but he was bored, and being leader meant he had to crawl out of his shell. That should be easy enough. Usually he'd play a crossword game or put together a puzzle or he'd mumble riddles to himself, but today he had called out. "Hey! Would anyone like to play truth and dare?" Get on the publics side, that was the goal. Scarecrow had likely broken some of the trust of the members for authority, but that wasn't anything Edward couldn't fix with how charming he was.

[div style="margin: auto; width: 50%; font-size: 11px; line-height: 13px; text-align: justify;"]trigger: mentions of past abuse + scars

markov had always trusted authority, no matter how much they hurt him. they could burn him, stab him, shoot him, choke him, and they’d still have his upmost respect that’s why he had so many scars, especially across his face and torso- but he knew why for each one and why he had deserved them. a lot were from training, like torture training where he had to wndure torture and not give up information. it had taken him years to perfect, but he had eventually got it. some were from jobs where his target had taught back- he had lost count of how many pulled she had pulled from his body, how many stitches he had received from it all- he knew it had to be well over one hundred.

but, none of those scars mattered right now as edward called for a game. he hadn’t played a game since he was ten, and he felt his chest tighten as nostalgia began to loud his judgment. “i will join, if you would like.” he offered, moving to take a seat nearby, setting his arms across the back of what he had decided to sit on and waiting for others.

//tw for injuries briefly in mine

It seemed as though there was a lack of people wanting to play, fine with Edward, truth and dare could be a game of two. "Yes, you're very welcome to join." Edward added with a friendly smile, brows raised slightly as he shifted himself. "Seems as though it's just the two of us - would you like to start with only two? More could join." Edward tilted his head forward, gaze questioning. He himself had scars, not as plentiful as Markov though - mostly he had been bruised and beaten, till he had broken bones. His injuries were temporary, and they had become unknown.
