Edward had a dog now. He used to have a pet hamster, but he hadn't lasted. Edward had vowed to never keep a pet again, but yet, he sat down right in the snow, cold on his rear, but Edward seemed numb to it due to his excitement by the creature in front of him. Excitement made his knuckles go pale as he dug his fingers into his palm, unable to contain himself as he cooed at the little husky. "Whose the best boy? Whose black and white and the best boy?" The puppy was slobbering over Edward's hands and wagging his tail, seemingly excited when Edward exclaimed his answer, looking much too enthusiastic compared to how he was most the time. "You are!"

Edward's gaze snapped up at the steps of a demon-like creature, who was hard to miss, with Jonathan like a drop of ink on a white sheet of paper. His swooning over Hannibal came to a stop, though he noted the way that it was so silent, almost like he'd been too enthusiastic and shouting. Ouch, embarrassing. But he shoved that thought aside, grinning at the crow and Scarecrow. "Well Icky, you're a pretty cool bird. But we'll have to agree to disagree." Edward hummed, perhaps a bit more playful after his giggling and petting of his dog.
