PLOT IDEAS

//Students are arriving at the castle. They will be placing their luggage in their dorms and heading to the Great Hall for the feast and sorting ceremony for first years.
Staff will be making their way down to the Great Hall and sitting at the staff table up on the podium. Wisteria will give them a brief speech on the upcoming year before turning to address the school as a whole. Have fun with your posts!

With the rise of New Age Death Eaters, students wearily head back to the castle. Everyone is on high alert. No one can be trusted, not even your closest friends. Classes will resume like normal but staff is prepared to protect their students with their lives. No one knows who the new Dark Lord is but the rumors are making their way around the castle. With tensions high, children are pitted against one another. Headmistress Blackwell does her best to calm situations but only so much can be done when things are happening behind closed doors.

Each students wand should be different. What you must remember is that the wand picks the witch/wizard. Using any old wand you find will prove to be difficult for most witches and wizards. Each wand has a unique core, wood combo, length, and design. Below are the lists you'll need to find your perfect wand!

On his arrival to the castle's ground, the young wizard had already gone through a few problems. His dear familiar had decided to put up a fit that had included his claws and teeth and his owner's exposed arms. And during the attack and struggle to shoving Russet into his carrier, the book he had been reading had fallen from his satchel and had gotten some damage to it; folded and dirtied pages. But, he'd take care of things once he was returned to the dormitories.

After he had dressed the fresh wounds, and had set his familiar to roam the dorms, Jazz had made his way down the hallways and towards the Great Hall with a slight skip to his steps. Curt nods in form of greeting to any passersby that caught his attention and soft humming to distract himself from the chattering students being his only responses to the excitement around him.

When getting to the grand doors, his lip had been sucked in to be gently chewed on before he slipped into the room to look for a spot to sit at.

Making a beeline towards the middle section of his respective area, Jasper glanced around to take in the details. Stopping short from his desired spot, he did a slow spin to look from the floors, to the tables, then to the ceiling. The view was enough to bring back memories of his first year.

The terrifying yet excited moments of leaving his family to go to a magical school he hadn't known much of. The few new friends he made, and the ones he had lost. The grand castle had been enough to make him scramble around in fright and huddle against other first year students, forcing him to befriend strangers that would grow with him in their usage of magic.

Rubbing the back of his neck, he took the remaining two steps that would lead him to a bench to slide onto. Drumming his fingers along the wooden tables, Jasper continued to hum nervously. It would be another year of learning, meeting old friends, making new ones, and fun and adventurous times.

Everything looked the same; the separation of the houses, the grand plates of food filling the rows of tables, the chandeliers, the teachers, the sorting hat to greet the freshman - Hogwarts hadn't changed. This year, however, was different for Amara. It would be her last year at Hogwarts. Finally, she was going to graduate and get out of the school.

Amaris didn't hate Hogwarts - she had to admit it was bothersome travelling home during vacation - she was just ready to get on with the next step in life. She especially wanted to do some travelling, perhaps explore herself as an animagus more.

Jae was the only person who knew of her secret in the school. Being unregistered, Amaris wanted to keep her freedom rather than having the Council down her neck. She always assumed she would be viewed as dangerous because she could shift into a tiger. Nevertheless, Jae was trustworthy enough.

As she stepped into the Great Hall, she looked around for her friend but didn't see him. The roots of her hair and the back of her neck tingled uncomfortable. It only ever happened when she knew someone was watching her. Amaris had a little peeve about being stared at.

Instead of trying to peek at the person, she whipped around only to lock eyes with a dark-skinned, white-haired girl. She'd certainly seen the girl around - it's impossible to miss hair that white - but her name was hard to remember. After trying for a few moments, Amaris realized she didn't even know her name much to her disappointment. For someone that pretty, she'd have to catch it. Seeing how she was also a Slytherin, it didn't seem to hard.

Giving the girl a nod in her direction, Amaris turned to look for her long time friend. She had to at least say hi to him before they were forced to sit down.

The ceiling of the Great Hall is alight with stars, and it is arguably Cameron's favourite part of returning to Hogwarts after a summer at home; that is, of course, excluding the Welcome Feast. She stops by the Owlery before heading to the Great Hall, to drop off her albino owl, Lucifer, and give him a happy pat on the head, leaving a bag of treats in the corner of the room so she's got something to give him whenever he returns from collecting her mail. Cameron's mostly just excited to get some food in her stomach, the Cauldron Cakes and pumpkin juice from the train ride here feel so long ago, she doesn't even know if she'd actually had them, or if the whole thing had just been one elaborate dream.

Regardless, she heads straight for the Slytherin table, since the hall is pretty much empty right now, and she wants to get a good seat. Cameron can't spot anyone she knows just yet, so she just leans her elbows on the table, absentmindedly humming a tune. She likes going home for the holidays, her parents are always there at King's Cross to pick her up, and sometimes her stepdad even brings a snack because he knows she's always hungry, but Hogwarts has been a second home for her ever since she'd stepped foot into the castle all those years ago, and she likes being here as well.

SHOOT ME DOWN
Ah yes! Another year at Hogwarts! The Slytherin perfect smiled as she strolled into the castle, her hair bouncing behind her. This year was going to be a good year! It had to be! Everything had worked out for her well; her parents didn't talk to her - which was nice since they usually just leer at her and yell- and she didn't see her cousins - who talk to her like she's broken. No sire, she just got to hang out with her muggle friends and actually, she learned how to drive! A small accomplishment in the wizarding world, but one that was exciting!
the girl passed many faces in the hallways - new and old alike. She greeted them all with smiles and 'Hello!'s on her way to the dorm, and once there, she dropped her stuff off in her dorm.
"Be Good!" She told her ferret whom she'd named Wern after her best muggle friend and within the same breath, the girl was clopping down the stairs to the house room. She stayed there for a bit, welcoming Slytherins to house, to the school, and giving directions if needed before deciding the pain was too much.
The girl made her way to the great hall with no effort. Her feet knew where to go to satisfy her stomach.
The blonde slipped in next to Cameron, eagerly eyeing the food. The tune her fellow snake hummed caught Circe's ear and tugged her eyes over to the girl.
"What song is that? Cos' you sound amazing!"

BUT I WONT FALL

He honestly didn't understand people sometimes. Well, to be fair, it was hard to understand something you technically weren't. Like a trying to understand a fly. Why did it fly so noisily? Why did it throw up every time it landed? Why did it die so fast? Theo just didn't know, and now, he was much too tired to ask.
The vampire lounged in his seat at the great hall, watching the new kids come in like a freakin' swarm. Sure they were all hunger - Theo most of all. He smelled the iron they carried around with them, heard it pump through them. Stop.
The teen bit his tongue repeatedly, trying to curb his need. He'd made sure to eat - really eat - before he came to school and packs of the red delicious stuff were in his suitcase. He'd have to hide them later tonight, but for now, that's where they were. His parents - nonvamps but aware of his situation - had made sure to give him only animal blood. Lambs and pigs mostly, but the boy couldn't help but wonder what people tasted like. Where they rich? Where they good? Was it like wine? One sip and you're hooked?
Theo didn't want to know - yet he had to.
The teen grimaced, turning to stare at his plate. that was a great way to get caught. Eat a student. The ministry would have sooo much fun with that!
Grunting, Theo began to play with his silverware idily, and then the sound to pencil on paper distracted him.
"hey." He sighed, peering down at his peer's work. "Could you be quite? I'm trying to do something over here."

I AM TITANIUM

"hey Wisty!" The Herbology teacher greeted, already seated at the table. The excitable black haired staff member fussed with her hair, using her wand to usher away her cups of tea that she had drunk in a effort to calm her nerves. Oh the new school year! So exciting!
"How are you doing? What me to get you a cup?" She questioned, noting the head mistress's blood shot eyes with a single glance.

INTRODUCTION

or all first year students,
You will gather in the Dining Hall once you enter the castle. Don't get too comfortable where you are seated. Once every student has settled down we will begin sorting each student into his/hers new house. The Sorting Hat can tell where each student belongs so there is no getting your house changed. Each student is allowed to have one personal pet (other than your Mail Owl), it can be either a Cat, Owl, or Toad. No other animals are allowed in the castle unless approved of by Headmaster Blackwell. All students should report to class on time, if caught in the halls they will face punishment. All students should have all items listed below before setting foot on the grounds

WISTERIA BLACKWELL
“No one laughs at god when they're staring down the end of a wand”

The witch sat upright in bed, startled clearly by her nightmares, the words of her late mother circling her head like water around a drain. Wisteria couldn't help but feel a twinge of pain in her chest at her mother's absence from this world. She held a fist up to her breast, feeling her heart beating beneath the soft, supple flesh of her being. It reminded her that she was still alive, still human, and not the monster that she saw in her nightmares. Blush crept into her porcelain cheeks as she realized how ridiculous she must look in that moment. Hair ratted from her dreadful night sleep, makeup smudged under her eyes giving her the appearance of a raccoon. She felt like a fool. But no one laughs at a god. No one.

Her nightmares began like any other. Cameras flash as people yell in her direction. She feels herself being pulled in multiple directions. And then it begins. This burning sensation on her forearm. She scratches at her bare skin, screaming as the pain seers through her body. Magically, a tattoo begins to form, slowly but surely, into the shape of a large skull, a snake protruding from its gaping mouth and wrapping itself around the skull. The Dark Mark.

Wisty feels herself nodding off as she sits in front of her vanity--hairbrush in hand--but quickly snaps back to reality. Her bloodshot green eyes give away her secrets but her pale skin is nothing short of perfection, hiding every inch of sleeplessness. She uses a blue ribbon--paying homage to her house--to tie back her bob length jet black waves and pulls bits of strands out around her bangs to help frame her narrow face. The witch gives herself a once over before moving onto clothing.

After an eternity, she decides on a form fitting gray knit sweater, black slacks, and her signature black cloak that brushes the back of her polished black heels. With a sigh, she closes her closet door and turns towards her bed, loneliness overcoming her once more. She missed her mother. Although her mother was a muggle, she understood the fame her daughter had in the wizarding world and accepted it with open arms. Wisty couldn’t have asked for better parents. But all that changed once Voldemort learned of her existence. He wanted her, for better or for worse and boy, did he know worse. She closed her eyes, clenching the edges of her cloak as the memories flooded her. Visions of being captured as a child and the torture. He killed off her family and “raised” her like one of his own. But no one knew that…

Wisteria practically floated down the steps of the headmasters tower. The students were approaching the gates of the school where they would come face to face with thestrals. The witch remembered the first year she could finally see the skeleton horses. But with a shake of her head, she pushed the memory far back in her head. She had classes to teach and students to meet. She had to keep a happy facade. Approaching the Great Hall, she pushed open the grand doors with a wave of her wand and made her way up to the staff table, ready to start the morning welcome back feast. Summer was finally over and students would be joining them again for the first time in months. She couldn’t wait.

IMANI HOPPER
The young witch stood at the front of the Great Hall doors. Beyond these doors lay her future, her dreams, and her passions. Tentatively she pushed the doors open and marveled in the decorations the staff had done. The Hall was decked with house colors on each side of the room--Slytherin, Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw. Candles floated above the long dining tables, which were adorned with foods of all different kinds. With a gleeful shriek, she clasp her hands together in front of her chest and skipped over to the Slytherin side, sitting down near the front of the room so she could have a good view of Headmistress Blackwell.

Imani placed her astronomy book on the table and began to flip through it, marveling at the constellations. She always enjoyed herbology and astronomy the most out of all her classes. She was lucky to be able to retake both for extra credit. She flipped through the pages but someone caught her gaze. There was something magic about this girl, she had never noticed her before but now she was making imani's heart skip a beat or two. If she thought hard enough she could probably remember the students name. What was it? A-Amaris? Amaris Caivano. Yes that was it. Mani gasped for air, realizing she had been holding her breath the whole time. This was going to be a long year.

i don't know where im supposed to go
Seok Jhun has never believed in fairytales. As a child, he spent his time reading biographies and watching historical documentaries. If you had asked him, a few years ago, if he believed in witches and wizards, he'd have pulled out a bible and laughed at your ass.
However, times change and with them, so do people. At the beginning of his first year, Seok was positive this was just a crazy-people school. Soon after that, he met his mother and things changed. Now, he is a seventh year and dedicating all his time to studying witchcraft. Honestly, he couldn't tell you if his life changed for the better or for the worst.

Arriving with the hoards, Seo made his way to the Ravenclaw dorm quickly. Dropping off his stuff and then shuffling out before he had the chance to miss the sorting ceremonies. Even though, he could live his whole life without talking to these people, Seo was fond of at least knowing their names. Just incase some famous dude arrived, he could acknowledge them and avoid or if he ever needed to borrow something, he could ask politely. You know, typical gemini shit.
Settling down in a chair, Seo looked over the hall. As usual, everything looked perfect. From the candles to the banners, not a thing was misplaced or uneven. Something about this view was depressing. This would be the last time he gathered in this hall for the sorting ceremony. He hated this ceremony but he was going to miss it and everything that came with it.
Blinking away the nostalgia, his eyes traveled back to his table and over his classmates. As much as he knew them, he didn't know shit about them. Something in him hated that but he shook his head and focused on the new crowd of first years that were lining up, instead. So young, how nice that must be.
