first and foremost, he's the only child of the leader of a smaller group, who were very strict with their regulations ( and his father was even stricter with him ). they're Hella Rivals with another close by group, who hated each other's guts. when he was younger, though, he met the daughter of the rival group's leader, and they became friends, and quickly best friends. obviously, they had to meet up in secret, and it was very dangerous for the both of them. / they ended up running away together after Shit Hit The Fan, but they didn't get far before romeo bumped into juliette's ( bestie ) fiance, who beat him within an inch of his life, and would have killed him if juliette hadn't saved the day by killing said fiance. romeo = forever grateful and in debt to her.

he's very protective of juliette, understandably, as she's really the only person who's ever been understanding, patient, and overall just . . . kind to him tbh. they compliment each other really well, a fantastic duo, if i do say so myself. juliette's very skilled in aiming and with knives, while romeo is a lot more skilled at the hand-to-hand combat fighting ( although he prefers greatly not to fight, and if he can, he'll run and/or hide; he's no a COWARD, he's a PACIFIST ok there's a difference ).

he's such. a sweetheart. he's super soft-spoken and gentle, and if he sees someone hurt, regardless of who they are, whether he knows them or not, he'll make whoever it is let him help them. he's probably got too much anger bottled up, and there's times he feels like he might explode, but he's good at keeping it back and remaining calm and steady. his patience depends on what's going on, where he is, and who he's with, as well as his physical health ( because it greatly affects his mental health ).

he's pretty darn shy, very quiet, when there's no one who needs aid, especially in a large group of people. he tends to stick himself as far away from everyone else as possible, and tries to draw as little attention to himself as possible. depending on his mood, if a fight breaks out, he'll either roll his eyes and walk away, or immediately step in to try his best at mediating; usually, he's in the mood to do the latter.

everyone in his old group seemed to think he lacked a spine and courage, but he's got a very strong will and would put his own life at risk to save someone else in a heartbeat. however, he also has common sense, and isn't a reckless dumbass. he knows when and when not to submit, and when he does submit, it's usually to keep others safe.
