after a while, daryl and rick had gotten out of the shower, and rick stood near daryl with a towel around his waist. “you know, i think we’ve got an ice pack somewhere.”

Daryl glanced over at Rick. He shook his head. “I’ll be okay Rick. Save it for someone who will need it more.” He said

he nodded. “lets get dressed, and i’ll get you an ice pack. but only if you agree to just lay down and rest, ok?” he said and looked over the bruises.

he nodded and moved him along, sighing softly. “you gonna be ok for a bit? i’m gonna make you something to eat while i’m in the kitchen, and i don’t want you freaking out, ok?”
